I get the pandemic situation as everyone is affected but placing an order on the 11th and not getting any update until now (18th) is unacceptable in my opinion. I was looking on Eddie Bauer site, added an item to my cart and started the process of checking out. When it came to shipping I was unhappy with the prices and therefore left the site to see if they sell on Amazon. 10 minutes later I received a charge alert from my credit card that it was ordered. I cannot get in touch with customer care regarding part of an order that I never received. It was shipped on December 7, 2020 (it is now January 8th) and through tracking it appears to be lost. I would like a refund. I have transmitted an email to customer care that has resulted in no response, I have tried to chat on their site two times with no response either time, and I have called twice to be put on hold each time with no response. The sales associate was beyond rude. She told me she obviously wasn’t a man so she didn’t know how the sizing ran on the jeans. When I called and spoke to the manager April, she said she already knew about the incident and what could she do to assist me in regards to making a purchase. She never offered to hear my side of the story. Honestly, I felt like had I been a white woman, the outcome would of be totally different!
Buyer Beware of Eddie Bauer! I Placed an order before the holidays even began. I noticed 1 of my items never arrived. The item had a tracking number assigned, but the status never changed from waiting for USPS pickup. I finally called EB 1 month later to check on this item and they said it was out of stock. Sizes too small. Take forever to send a return label by mail. Still waiting to return a parka I bought a month ago.
Can I leave a zero star review? (nope had to do 1) This company is the WORST. Their website directs you to the store to pick up but lo and behold the store charges you more than the website and they will not honor the website price. TRICKY. Got burned by them last year on a refund that I was never refunded for. I foolishly tried them again this year. NEVER AGAIN. Placed an order with Eddie Bauer on Black Friday 2020. The order showed up on Saturday, December 12, 2020 and had my shipping information on the box. When I opened the box my ordered items were not inside, instead a person's order from Palo Alto, CA. I phoned EB quickly Sunday morning and was told that I would have to repurchase the items I ordered and wait for a refund on the mixed up order. False advertising. On 12/09/20, I ordered socks item# i14 792 4013. They advertise 72% cotton. Socks received have 0% cotton. Will not order from Eddie Bauer again. They can’t even get socks right? Ridiculous!
