FIRST & LAST Time with Eddie Bauer How are they still in business? The experience I just had with them was so poor, I wish I could give them less than one star. On Cyber Monday, I ordered two items. Wrong product was sent to me. Via phone, chat and email with customer service, I was unable to get someone to send the correct items and send a shipping label to return the wrong items. I kept getting a form letter. I think if I could have explain the situation to someone in America they might have understood and helped me. I'm giving up and will just eat the $50 loss. So sorry this 100 year old company has gone down hill.

In February of 2020, at the Tysons Corner Eddie Bauer, I went to exchange pants that were grandfathered under the older return policy. The employee helping me tried initially to convince I could not exchange them but I at least knew he was wrong in this. He then told me Eddie Bauer no longer made the pants I wanted to exchange (convertible shorts/pants) and would only give me store credit at a greatly reduced amount. Eddie Bauer used to be a fine company to deal with. I have been having issues for over a year trying to get some older gift cards redeemed. These cards had no expiration date but the ID numbers on them had fallen out of the EB system. Was told on 3 different occasions that replacement cards were being mailed out. Never received! Have countless phone calls and emails to customer service. They were totally apologetic and polite but totally useless. It took almost a month just to get a shipping label to return an online purchase. I tracked the purchase and after 5 months have still not received a refund. I also stopped receiving responses from Customer Service. Maybe this is some kind of racket - how many people are not receiving refunds!! I finally contacted my credit card company to submit a dispute.

I do not think the current company is at all what it used to be. I ordered approximately $350 worth of clothing. I was charged 3 separate amounts totaling$896.19. I called the customer service department and they did not dispute the initial order amount or items. They said the extra charges were because the items were coming from different places. Terrible customer service. Defective boots not honored by company and nothing but run around. Saying the boots were licensed by them and they could do anything about it. Followed their directions to return and retailer will not honor return and licensor does not respond. Eddie Bauer is NOT a quality brand. Months of run around. Soles of water proof Boots fell off.

I've been a customer with Eddie Bauer for the better part of a decade and have been very appreciative of how above and beyond they have always gone. After having a recent issue with my local post office Eddie Bauer was super helpful in getting involved and could not be happier, will be a happy customer for many years to come.

Bought shorts and returned them Right away with tag on because they were to big. They will only give me 1/2 My money back. And that’s after hounding and multiple emails?! Is this even legal. Or do they rely on ppl being lazy about tracking returns????
