Charged my credit card double when confirmation page of order verified half that amount in the order. Never received items. I am unable, after multiple emails and messages, to contact them. Have had to report to my credit card company as fraudulent. Likely will not ever get my $130 back.
I have tried to get reimbursement for a zipper repair I had to do to a particular jacket that I was told had issues. Customer service wants to give me an Eddie Bauer gift card--I said no. I paid cash, I want cash. I have called customer service and have written customer service with no satisfaction. I am writing to the CEO today. Not sure that will help but it helps to vent my frustration over a simple matter of $50.
Placed order June 26, 2020 and never received it as of August 5, 2020. Check with customer service every week and am told order is in process and I can return it when it ships. It is not going to ship. After reading these reviews I realize that if I ever receive it that my credit card will not be credited when I do the return. They absolutely refuse to cancel the order. After buying from Eddie Bauer for many years I without any problems I finally had to return 2 pairs of pants that did not fit properly. I received permission to return the items and followed their instructions. It cost me $22 for return shipping but I didn't complain. It's now been neatly 3 months since the company has received the items and I still cannot get a refund or reply as to when I will get the refund. I have had 4 on line chats for a RETURN LABEL for inside Canada and no proper return label sent only in America...hung on 3 times now when you and 3 emails who have not sent the Canada Return label...now shipping at my own expense....terrible
Horrible! Have waited almost two months for my order from May. Said would be delivered by 7/9. No tracking info appeared so I sent numerous emails, calls-extremely poor customer service and poor response. Now tried to order pants on their site-get error message and no cart available?!? I have been trying through multiple emails and phone calls to get a refund for a pair of pants I returned, that was received by their office on May 1. They refused to credit my credit card. They said they would send me a gift card. When I asked for a cash return they said they would credit my PayPal account. This was not done. From reading all the complaints it sounds like I am not the only one with this problem. I returned clothes end of April and got an email confirming it was received and they would be "refunding the method of payment". Well, still no refund on my card so I emailed. Spend your money elsewhere. I ordered a raincoat for a Christmas gift in November 2019, which arrived in time for gifting but did not fit. Returned in January. Did not receive word that my return had been processed until 5/8/20. Still waiting for a replacement 6/29/20. Needless to say, the raincoat my daughter wanted to deal with the rainy season is now completely pointless, and she has moved from the address I gave them.
