On Sunday, the 17th, I tried to place an order online, but it wouldn't go through, so I ordered over the phone. The first person I got, we couldn't understand each other, so I politely asked for someone else. I was put on hold forever, so I called back. The next person I got told me their system was doen, and they couldn't help me, so I called back again, and I got a person that did help me and placed the order over the phone. If it were possible to rate less than 1 star I would. Words cannot express my frustration with this company. I wish there were a better way to warn the masses how awful this customer service is and has been. I put in an order on October 23, 2019 for 12 items. The shipment arrived on October 30. One item was delayed in shipping, and 9 out of 11 items were completely wrong. Completely random items that I did not order. TERRIBLE online order experience. Side note, I only decided to order online because my local store was doing inventory. When I asked if they had other sizes of pants in the back, they said because they are doing inventory they can't get me anything from the back. To my surprise, they didn't offer to help me with an order or an alternative. So I just walked out and figured I'll order it on my own. Here is where the nightmare starts. Worse customer service I have ever experienced. I don't have time to be on the phone for hours to resolve simple issues like making an exchange for a size. My experience is identical to all the others that have submitted reviews. Still waiting for my confirmation after spending over an hour on the phone with them on Friday, then having to call my bank to cancel the order that nobody could find - they said I gave them the wrong order number - that order showed a different name, phone number and address...it's concerning that ... read more

If there was a minus for a service rating they Eddie Bauer would get it. I ordered a pair of boots as a gift on 10/25/19. Actually attempted to order as customer dis-service person in non US site could not spell my name (Jan) after multiple tries. Got conflicting info on price, shipping, taxes, etc . I live in NH and it's getting cold here. My husband needs a new coat, so I order from good old EB. I don't know what happened to this company, I payed for 2 day shipment and guess what? After 5 days the status is Available - processing shipment. I called and they try to sell me lies, I can't even cancel the order. I'm gonna return the item no matter what. EB, you lost a customer! *********and ***** ****, here I come!

Placed my first online order (2 pair of waterproof boots) with Eddie Bauer on October 22nd and super excited! Then it went downhill from there. My confirmation states that one boot was available and one was back ordered (no notifications as I’m placed the order) and was charged for both boots and fast shipments. I called several times, hold for moments at a time and finally got it someone. Mind you I had checked my bank account and had three charges pending (one for the whole order and one for the boots that was fulfilled)!!... read more

I ordered 6 items (parkas, fleece jackets) 10/26/2019, worth over $450.00. A few days later, I received a package with 5 items, and they were all children's t-shirts, worth about $12.00 each. I called to report that they sent me the wrong items, and I wanted my package, only to be told that the package had not been delivered yet, and to wait. Worst customer service you could expect. I ordered a coat on Monday and the email they send promises a fulfillment and tracking number in 24 hours. After 2 full days, I called customer service to find out why my order was still held up. The agents are in the Phillipines and literally, read from a script, without answering your question in any way. 2 agents later and a refusal to link me to a manager, I went to online help.
