I ordered a number of items and used a 50% off coupon code. The code showed as being applied but I was billed for the full amount. Additionally, I have not received the items although they show as shipped and delivered. I have tried to call Eddie Bauer to resolve this. I have been on hold for HOURS! I have tried email, no response. The Chat function has been disabled on their website. This is the worst possible customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered 2 backpacks on December 2 and as of December 7 they have not shipped, although the show in stock and processing. I have attempted to call customer service multiple times for the last 3 days, waiting long times and have yet to have anyone answer the phone. All you get is static and terrible music with an occassional announcement that they are experiencing longer than average wait time. This is the worst company ever when dealing with customer service and order processing. I ordered an item, and a day later I was sent an email that the item was on back order, and would not be available for shipping until 2 months later. Per the instructions on the website If an item is on back order you should submit a request for the order to be canceled. I placed an order this past Monday, cyber Monday. I made an error on an address. I immediately called customer service. 40 mins later I was still on hold. I called the order line. I was told that they could not help me, this was the ordering center and then was told, " What do you expect , its cyber Monday"? I was trying in good faith to cancel that order. Tried to order from Eddie Bauer on their mobile site from my phone and it was not working properly so I cancelled my order. Went to my desktop to redo the order and had no problem. Checked my bank account and it said I had two pending transactions from Eddie Bauer so I called Eddie Bauer about 15 minutes after I placed the order to clear up the issue. Visited the outlet store in Sevierville, TN on 5/27/2018. Went there because EB sent me an email with a $10 gift certificate. Can be used in store or online. No restrictions. Found something I wanted in the store, and took it to the register. Apparently that interrupted a clerk who was nearby folding shirts. I bought a ski coat on line from Eddie Bauer on line.I brought it back to the Eddie Bauer in Oak Brook ,il for a refund.The first sales person gave me a bad time on returning this coat.I then called for manager Linda.This happen November 25,2017.Linda tells me I can get a refund without my credit card.I told her I was not going to give it to them.Their return slip contradicts the manager comments.I am a Vietnam veteran with disabilities.I think people better beware about dealing with this company.When I bought it on line .Th... read more

Eddie Bauer ignores request for removal from their marketing mail. I called in to request removal on several occasions. Each time customer service assured me I was being removed, only for the catalogs to continue. These catalogs come every week or two. This company is a perfect example of marketing run amok. I finally closed my account with them because of it.
