Stayed at this hotel 4th May-8th May. Faultless from start to finish! The rooms were spotless and airy and had everything you would need for your trip (toiletries, iron, hairdryer etc.) and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff were always so friendly both at reception and at the bar. We also had a fab experience with the concierge Chris who helped us out with picking trips to do and what to see! I stay at this hotel almost every time I visit NYC and I love it. The location is great and the rooms are always clean. The price can be expensive during certain times of the year but that is true for most NYC hotels.

My stay at The Doubletree Metropolitan NYC was the worst experience I've ever had in hospitality. Although I booked a double-bed room, my three teenage sons and I were given a king-bed room with a rollaway after they oversold the hotel on the first night of our stay. When I came down to the front desk the next day to see if my new room was available, the front desk manager, Tracy Carpenter, yelled at me for "cutting in line in front of my guests!" .
