FIVE STARS for Coggin Toyota at the Avenues for the Service Advisor Gary Mcintosh!!! Gary Mcintosh was my service advisor. I bought a 2011 Prius last fall and have execellent service and maintenance with them since. Gary is so excellent, fast, and efficient and service minded. He even loaned me his personal phone when my phone battery ran down and I needed to call my family. Allen Sandberg was our service advisor on a recent visit for an airbag recall. But theres more....twice before I had scheduled this service only to find the part was not at the dealership when I arrived (both times after scheduling an appointment a week in advance.) I was very frustrated when I got the call that the part was (again) not in stock. Mr. Sandberg committed that he would follow up and put my name on the part when it arrived, then call me. Worst dealership I have ever encountered and I am a Toyota girl for life. Wish I had read these reviews before walking into this place. Worst customer service, worst sales associates. One word, incompetent!! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. I wont even buy a car mat from this place. Can't even execute a military sale of a vehicle properly and they are located in Jacksonville. I went in to Coggin Toyota at the Avenues with hopes of trading in my 2015 RAV4 for a Prius. Thim Tin was my sales rep who handled the whole situation very well. He made sure if I questioned anything, that he got the answers for me. All of the numbers that played out in the deal were explained to me thoroughly which is usually what I want out of these deals. THIM Tin was an awesome sales person. He got me out of bed on a cozy cold day to go see him at Coggin. I was looking for a used Tundra under 30 $. He said whey not get into the 2016 for few more thousands? He got me interested. I quickly dress up and went to see him, in the rain..Anyhow 2 hours later I drove away in a 2016 Tundra. I have a 2002 4Runner with 124,000 miles on it. I decided to take it to Coggin for its next oil change, fully expecting extra service needed. Sure enough, I left spending way more than an oil change. The staff was professional and made an effort to lower my bill. They were friendly and honest, I felt. They did a great job and I plan on taking my car there for service in the future.
I had an initially frustrating experience with Coggin Toyota. I had an appointment scheduled to put 4 new tires on our car (Michelin Premiers). When I had called them previously they didn't have the tires in stock but told me on the phone that they can get the tires for me within 2 hours the same day, or if I call it in ahead of time (which I did) they would have them ready for me.
