They approved me for a **** when I went to pick it up they told me they cancelled everything. Had me put insurance on the **** had the down payment, had the approval of the bank. The lady I spoke with ********* assured me everything was ready and completed. They wouldn't give me a reason to why they denied me, then they proceeded to never let me purchase from CarMax again. CarMax sold me a 2015 Rav 4 and after a month and a half the brakes, rotors, and calipers are severely rusted to the point that the brakes are hard to stop the car. The car was inspected by ****** and it shows that the brakes could not have been inspected in May as the inspection said. I paid for a full report and also have pictures of all the damage. I'm a 70-year-old female who knows very little about automobiles and wanted to get my grandson a car to drive and this is what CarMax sold me.

Ive had the worst experience ever!!!! Ive been to the service department a million times since I financed my car. The dash board tells me i need to check my oil even shortly after receiving an oil change. I bring it in every time!! And ** told oh we see theres oil in the car. Nothing is wrong. Fast forward today. I am out of a car because of some huge gas leak!!! Honestly 1 star is too good for this business I honestly rate this business -10 stars. They get your hopes up on the phone and then dash them when you are face to face what a joke.

would give zero if i could. i purchased a car from the CarMax in ******* **. I'm a current resident of ************ Pa. I was in ******* ** care taking my grandmother for almost 6 months and was able to update my drivers licenses online but not able to update the picture needed ( every 4 yrs a new pics is required). DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM CARMAX. Originally when I in the process of buying the car I was told I could add carmax protection and it would be included in my car payments, I agreed. After doing all the paperwork and getting ready to finalize everything I was told I couldnt add the carmax protection that I had to pay $2000 upfront and I was confused. They then asked me if I had a credit card I could just add the charges on there and pay it off and I told them not I do not have a credit card. They took the coverage off. NOT ... read more
