I have bought a Chrysler Pacifica from them. In less than a year had a major computer fail on the car which left me stranded on the road. Transmission is slipping and have a toxic fume problem in my car which is making me sick. I will never bye a car from them again.

Car max has a ton of cars to choose from. The problem starts after you buy the car. It took me 3 months to gets my plates. Now I am having to get repairs done using the warranty and this is my 2nd time for same issue. I made an appointment and I called later to ask if I should just drop the car off the person on the phone said " I can't predict the future you can do what you want" . So I show up at one only to be told the alignment machine is being useful and I have to wait an hour or more. I am so tired of the crappy custom... read more

My story is long but I bought a 2019 ****** Pathfinder, I brought it back numerous times for break issues, I explained this to the main person at this dealership, nothing was fixed they said they fixed them but the problem persisted. Please do not buy a car from this place, they will give you false promises just to sell you a car and move on. From the general manager on down and if you try to contact their home office in ********, they will give you the same treatment. Overall, Carmax is NOT a good place to buy a car. They uses delay tactics to wear you down until you just give up. To save you a bunch if headaches and loss time from work etc. it's better to give your business to others dealers.

I Purchased a ***** Civic Sport 2019 almost 2-1/2 years ago. My car start having problem since 05/15/2022 ,08/20/2022,03/20/2023,05/26/2023,06/06/2023 and so many other dates ,it broke down on me I purchased an extended warranty , and everytime I take it back to the dealer I get the same answer. and car still keep broken on me in the middle of the street.

Got a 2020 kicks it had bad transmission, traded for a hydunai Kona 2020. Not on 3rd payment yet but close. Carmax refused to repair within 2 weeks but said theyd fix the brakes and rotors and for the rest take it to ******* to repair so I did and two weeks later it was ready just needed spark plugs, well not so. Mangers are not sticking to there word, Im under paid and others around me make more money and I have a diploma in this field I take on heavy work loads with less pay its a lot of favoritism here!!

Bought a 2022 ******* Tucson for 32k with almost 9k miles on it tell me why 30mins driving off the lot in the ******** ************* ** Location I get a check engine light on. I immediately called and they could not help me. I called Monday morning and they still couldn't help me in the auto services department. they made me reschedule for another day which I did and because I work weekdays and off weekends.
