Poor customer experience. I was preapproved for a car loan for $18000. I had $3000 to put down. I wanted to buy a car for my son like I had done for him and my other children since ****. I had my son on the line with the CarMax representative and when I told her that my son was going to use his car as an Uber driver, her mood changed and she said that Carmax doesnt finance commercial vehicles. Daughter purchased a car from Carmax in ******** **, with the Maxcare warranty, 4 months later the transmission starts to act up, i called the service center only to be told that they were not taking Maxcare customers and we should take it to a dealer. Dealer looks at the car and determines that it has been in an accident that Carmax should have seen if they did the proper inspection. Carmax just blows us off as it is outside the 30 day return window. Now she has a car that i don't consider safe to drive, and a depreciation ... read more

I had a bad experience with this branch. They sold me a 2022 GT Charger; upon pulling off, the back tire was 18 psi, and there was a large bolt in the driver-side tire. I am from *******, **, and drove to GA (8hrs) to get this car. I returned the next day (stayed in GA) and showed them the problem, and that team acted like they did not know what to do. Non bias review Carmax is someway higher on their list prices then other dealers, but the bottom line when purchasing is a lot less,Other dealers will add all kind of charges such as reconditioning fee, market adjustment fees, advantage care plan and insane documentation fees.Basically add their $399 selling fees tax and title to their list price, No surprises.Also no pushy sales man.And the best part is their 30 days or ************************************************* my opinion buying is so much simpler at Carmax with no ... read more

After dropping off our vehicle for service which should have been no more than a 4 hour wait, we were told its going to take a bit longer and they would call to let us know when it was ready. 2 days later, we contacted them. they told us they were backed up, but it would be done soon.Fast forward to day 7 we are calling . This business violates data privacy. ********************* to test drive, the employee left their computer on. The screen had eight customer's personal information (ie. Name, Phone Number and Email) viewable. I'm sure I could have found more accessible information if I wanted. When we returned from the test drive, we saw another couple at the desk we were originally at.
