I was sold a vehicle that obviously had issues I purchased the vehicle and it was only in my possession for about 24 to 48 hours before I had to take the vehicle back for several repels I was without this vehicle for an entire month just about 2 months the vehicle had to have an air compressor replaced as well as a rebuilt in it CarMax how to be ashamed of themselves for selling such a car that obviously had issues in the beginning yes it's a used car but the issues that was on this car should have been taken care of before ... read more

My personal vehicle is covered under Assurant's warranty through ********* ********** something I purchased when I bought the car from CarMax. On 8/30/2023, my vehicle broke down. I communicated with Assurant and found an authorized repair shop, ****************************** and had the vehicle towed there that evening. Assurant scheduled an insurance adjuster inspection of the vehicle for the following week, 9/5/2023 or 9/6/2023. On 9/6/2023, I called Assurant to ask if the inspector had been sent out yet. We took the car in to have the front sensors repaired. We had taken a picture of the error message to give to the tech. We worked with the lady answering the phone. She said she would make sure the tech would look at the sensors. She called back and said the tech said there was nothing wrong with the sensors. I called her back later and explained in detail what the problem was. She said she didn't know that was the problem and promised she would tell the tech. As of today, Im being charged monthly payments and interest on a car that was returned. I have no car and cant get a new loan and all Carmax can do is tell me they dont know how long it will take before the check is returned. I returned the car on 9/13/2023 and was told that it would take 2 days for the check to be returned and its 9/22/2023 and nothing was done. They have no answers and now Im being charged for a car I dont have.

Purchased my car from **************************************************, because I had previously bought 2 other cars only I was in ******** they were perfect at the purchase the tires on this car are bad I find they leak, Carmax does not do tires although they said they were good. They say they do an inspection check second day of driving it started to rain no windshield wiper front lights don't work. I like to buy from them cause you know the price, they are worse cause you don't know what's working and what's not.

Last week I made a reservation to test drive a 2021 ****** Highlander on Saturday 9/16/23 at 11:30 at CARMAX of *******, **. Everything went smoothly until the sales rep went to bring the car up front for our test drive. She returned and told us she had to jump start the car because, the battery was dead, someone had left a light on. This company has lied about their policy on transport fees. We paid to have a truck brought to this location in Lafayette on the basis that we were pre-approved to purchase the vehicle at a intrest rate and then they ran a credit check and came up with higher intrest rates that we were told. They refused to refund our transport cost after they were not upfront with the actual intrest rates.
