This has been one of the worst experiences of our lives. We hit a deer and totalled our car. Went to carmax and were sold a **** escape with a bad transmission. We immediately returned the car and were sold a Buick encore. The 1st week I noticed the car lagging and stuttering when accelerating as well as there was boiling hot water spewing into the passenger side floor board and on my legs. Bought a 2018 jeep 5/31/2023 on July 7 water pump went out brought it to **** service manager hillside carmax engine light on also.Givin loaner car .3 days later loaner car died out so *********** carmax where I purchased car gave new loaner and plates were reported stolen *********** police came to me guns drawn.On 7/19/23 I received my jeep back but on 7/25 engine light on overheating bringing back today video included if needed Dont buy cars from *********** Carmax this is a nightmare missing days of work

This will be my last vehicle purchased from Carmax! I purchased an extended warranty cause of my last experience with Carmax, but not sure how good that is. I can't get in for repairs. I can't even get in contact with the service department. My truck is broke and needs to be towed to their service department, but no one is helping. My last vehicle I had to take it to a Dodge dealership cause my truck was going to take 3 months for the repairs at Carmax. They are always shorthanded.

If I could give a zero than I would. Car Max sold me a car with open recalls and now the car engine has blown because of them not doing things throughly. I am a mother of 5 children and now have to pay $7000 to fix the car. I feel so cheated by this place. DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE.

I tried to trade in my car they reassured me multiple times that if I wanted to opt out I was about to just to do it in a timely manner. Less then 10 hours the sales manager **** was very rude I asked to have a translator since English isnt my strong suit refused to help with the language barrier. Carmax has deceitful business and financial practices as well as violating the ****** They also took a car from a disabled veteran. I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Purchased car outright with no financing. A month later and still no title to car. Called and inquired about title and CarMax let me know that they failed to release the prior lien holder and replace with our names. The process is now on hold for an infinite amount of time. Their business office is full of idiots. Please make sure you do your title homework when purchasing or buying a car from CarMax. I called the *** yesterday and apparently there is a slew of title problems with CarMax. We will never buy from there again.
