I bought a car from Carmax with a busted windshield that they said they would fix! Never heard from them! Called to find out what was going on and they said they had the wrong number gave them the right number and still never heard from them!!! They are not going to fix anything! If something is wrong dont buy it and dont trust they will fix!!

7/11/2023Car max in ******* ** would never recommend anyone to do business with them they lie for one and before your 90 days are up they will find a way to not help the people at all I want all my money back from them they not stand up people you think they are its hard for them to do a call back to costumer or even pick up they office phone DO NOT DO NOT BUY A CAR From them ! Your better off at the auction at least they will tell you whats wrong with the car before you buy it..

I truly wish I could give negative starts. I purchased a car from Carmax and within a day, we discovered the power outlets were not working. I reported the issue and was advised to bring it in for a service, a week later. I had to wait one week to address the concern. Not even 24 hours later there is black smoke coming out the exhaust, the car would not start, the driver door would not lock, there was a loud noise when the car started, and we checked and noticed there were fuses missing in the fuse box. Sold my son a truck with issues on DAY 1. This is proof they don't inspect vehicles... January 28th 2023 5 months owning a truck that's already been down 3 different times because they never fully inspected it before putting on sales floor. It had a stuck caliper the very day we test drove, ending up leading to other repairs, the brakes, the riders. ***** later it started having a misfire, now white smoke!! DO NOT purchase a vehicle from Carmax in ******, **. You will regret it. I purchased a ****** Altima September 2022. I heard a noise coming from the front of the vehicle almost a month after driving it. I took it back to them and was told that it was fixed by ******. 6 months later I heard the noise again. I called Carmax and they told me that they were only taking vehicles for maintenance only. I will never buy another car from Carmax. I cant process any payments online or using the app. When I look at my balance I cannot tell where my money goes because the balance owed on the car has not changed at all! I purchased my car (2019 **** Escape) December 24th 2022 and its already giving me problems. Carmax refused to look at the car to check it out and literally told me to take it somewhere else; they was not gonna look at it because I had the car past 3 months. Purchased a vehicle in full on Father's *** and enjoyed it the rest of the day. The very next day I had to take it into the service department because there was no coolant, water leaked in the cabin of the car AND I was smelling an electrical smell. I was told that they couldn't get it in till the 29th and they gave me a loaner till it could be looked at.
