In and out in under an hour. Car selection is good, even if they don't have what you want at your nearest location, it can be shipped. Price isn't the best but if you want ease of shopping and a simple checkout with a guarantee you'll love, then car max is the go to. If there was a way I could leave negative stars I would. CarMax of Fort Worth, TX. 8400 Anderson Blvd. I came in browsing and walked out on Friday 10/15/21 with a Used Vehicle purchase order to give to my bank to finalize and have my bank send information to car max so they could receive my money and I could sign final paper work to receive the car. I have bought cars from them in the past. I recently financed a **** *** **** and when I took it for regular service it had bad converters, bad brakes, bad routers, and engine light was on and the transmission wont engage. I only had the vehicle for 33 days. When they said they would resolve the issue. They did not. They are currently trying to return the vehicle to me after patching it up. Wow! Carmax's predatory practices with loans and the Pandemic are disgusting at best! The pandemic has been tough on all of us. but what Carmax is deciding to do is borderline unethical. Sale person Gimel courteous and kind. Over all process after spending *** on a new vehicle. First it was come back in the morning we have to fix a nail in the tire. Ok. Then it was the next morning and it’s we have to replace the tires multiple nails found. Ok. If you end up dealing with one of the managers in the Orlando store called Aaron, very politelly ask to talk to somebody else. Read on and you will understand why. I made an appointment to drive and buy a car on 10/11/21 at 1:30PM, got my insurance lined up, credit pre-approved, trade in appraised, and drove 2.5 hours to buy my new car. In the beginning it appeared that things was well, until I was disrespected with the allegations of uploading or scanned a fake driver license. License was not current due to COVID-19 but we have been given a grace with expiration.
