I have purchased more than 40 ************* from CarMax in the last 20 years with no issues whatsoever. **************** I steered to CarMax have had the same experience. Even when I bought a vehicle that turned out to be a lemon, they gave me another vehicle to drive and eventually bought the vehicle back. No hassles & no headaches.

Maplewood Carmax did not follow through with their guarantee. The car we bought for our daughter broke down and had to be towed to ***** in *******, ** leaving her stranded. It cost $*** to fix the starter. I called several times and got the run around. Was told to fax the receipt, which I did, and still heard nothing. I would be very suspicious of Carmax's warranty.

Worst place to ever buy a car from. Just purchased a used **** ******** and first time filling the tank the gauge didn't move for about 20 minutes. Had it back in 5 times now for the same issue and the tech tells me today that is normal for it to take a while to show the correct amount of gas. They refuse to fix the problem

Horrible experience, purchased a vehicle and financed with Carmax financial which turned out to be a nightmare! They double charged both accounts at my bank and then sent my bank account into a overdraft which affected my financial situation. Also, they impacted my credit score by not allowing my payments to go through and yet they charged me late fees for my payments they never accepted! I’m a very , very dissatisfied customer. I purchased a car from carmax located at 6755 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89146 in July of this year, I’ve had problems 2 times with the car since I’ve had it where it needed to be brought in for service one of which the car was kept there for a few days and the other a few hours…on today 11-22-2021 I brought my car in for an oil change which I had an appointment for since 9 am this morning , it is now 1:04 pm and my car is still there for an oil change…this store doesn’t return calls... read more

I have a 1998 firebird in great shape, good tires, immaculate interior, new fuel pump, new battery, and all four wheels new brake pads, calipers and rotors.( $**** dollars worth of repairs within the last two months), and they gave me a quote of $*** to buy it. It’s worth more than that for scrap! If this is this companies level of good faith and honesty they should go out of business. I will never buy anything from these crooks!

I had a very exhaustive, time consuming, and frustrating experience with CarMax. I have waited over a month to complete the purchase of a car that I paid to transport. My case, often, went ignored and was frequently passed between various departments/individuals who provided false promises and few answers. I believe I was ripped off on the vehicle I bought the percentage rate was way too high then what the car is worth had multiple problems with the vehicle and now stuck making payments. Won’t be getting a vehicle from here again.

I recently visited CarMax in Tucson to purchase a vehicle that I was interested in. I paid $****** to have a vehicle shipped from Illinois. When the vehicle arrived I was very disappointed in the color. It was advertised as white and the photos taken were in a white room that made the vehicle look true white. When seeing the vehicle in person it was not white but a pearl white that looked cream. Not the color I wanted at all.
