I had the worse experience there. I applied online got approved submitted all my paper work online even did my trade online and got finalized online. They were going to set up delivery because I lived out of town but I was 8 miles out of their delivery zone so I did an express order for a 1pm pick up. I got there checked in and come to find out they have to re run my credit again which was weird so I said ok for the sake of getting a car and going through the process. THIS COMPANY HAS SOLD ME A **** *** ***VEHICLE WITH A FAILED TRANSMISSION. GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND UNTIL MY WARRANTY EXPIRED AND MY TRADE IN IS LOST FOREVER... TO A TRASH CAR. THAT IM IN DEBT WITH, I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS COMPANY AND AS A CUSTOMER I HAVE TO BE LEFT UPSET, HURT AND POSSIBLY BE BACK TO WALKING SOON

I purchased a car 4 months ago from CarMax and today it’s in the shop. I was told it would take 10 days until the part is received but ******* (CarMax’s warranty company) will only pay for 7 days. So far I’ve spent the equivalent of my car note on a rental. Do yourself a favor and go to another car dealer!! CarMax sucks and could careless about their customers!!!!

This was the worst car-buying experiences I had to endure. It started off promising but ended in perpetual disaster. On the phone during the process of pre-approvement, the representative gave a quote which upon follow-up they forgot to add the correct spelling of my middle name causing them to have to run it a second time which shows up on my credit. We paid $**** to ship a car to Las Vegas from Texas The car arrived dec 30 2021 when we went to pick the car up Sales guy (Oscar) was asking us weird questions like “did we pay taxes “ I asked him why is that his concern so we asked to speak with the manger (Gilda) who instantly came off snobby an rude and Questioned are check stubs said we need to log into my employer website and show them ( my employer don’t have access to that online ) at this point the bank it closed we already running late and we currently financing a c... read more

Had a 2019 Nissan Armada delivered from TN to North Houston on Oct ‘21. Vehicle was on time and as promised. Financed through CarMax with no issues. Second time I have purchased a car this way. Very satisfied.

I found a car on the CarMax website that I fell in love with. I paid ******to have it transferred out to Lynwood and then received financing through CarMax to purchase the car. I returned the vehicle 5 days later because the car was advertised as a 4X4 vehicle but was actually a front wheel drive car. I've taken my car there for repair 3 times and paid in full. Today I picked it up, to find out the problem wasn't repaired. I called and spoke to Moe, and Jericka and was told there's nothing they could do! I paid $****** today. They have terrible customer service!

Based upon the overall reviews of this business, this should be no surprise. We purchased a **** ******that had a critical engine failure in the first week of ownership. They found another similar vehicle that took over 3 weeks to arrive and for us to take possession. After administering the loan application it was found that we had to provide additional funds to secure the loan on the replacement vehicle.
