They stole from me. They cancelled the check they wrote to me and refused to let me clear it up. When I spoke to the business department manager he told me to * ***. Their uncleared check cost me $***** in bounce fees.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I would give a negative stars if it allowed me to do so. CarMax is CRIMINAL after what they have put us through. We shipped a vehicle from Danvers, MA to Denver, CO, and, despite my best efforts to make sure that the vehicle was in good working order (confirmed by CarMax through their 'quality inspection process' on multiple occasions), the car showed up with damage beyond comprehension. They are liars and DON'T follow through with what they say. Stayed on the phone on 04-11-2022 for 2 or more hours to get a truck I picked out and to be put on hold. They hit my credit report 3 different times to purchase the truck and told me to wait for a call from her the next day at 1:00 pm and had a different woman call me to tell me the news of what happened. They turned around and put on hold to sell to someone else for the truck that i was already approved the loan for. They are terrible people to deal with over the p... read more

I was asked by a sales person to show him my bank account personal information. He was asked to obtain this information by his manager. Not sure, but if someone brings a certified check from a federally accredited bank.,To have their check questioned and too ask to see/prove where my money comes from. Anyone ever ask you where you got your money from? I worked for over 38 years. I saved, I invested wisely. Yes, just let me say I worked extremely hard for my money. I returned a vehicle under their 30 day return policy. I was given a draft for my down payment. It said to call to make sure it would clear if deposited. I was told it was ok and 5 days later the draft bounced causing a mess with my bank account. I was told that someone in their office neglected to finalize something. I was not happy.

CarMax extended warranty rip off!! This really pisses me off!! My daughter-in-law purchased a **** ******she's only put 5,000 miles on it ( 60,000 Total ) but the extended warranty does not cover wearable parts!!! now her clutch is going out CarMax told her it's a wearable part not covered under extended warranty!! Upon arrival with my online offer in place, I had an appointment to sell my car. After waiting a half hour, they came back with a much lower offer than my online offer. Upon reviewing the new offer they said I did not have a few key things on my vehicle that were on the online offer, which I did have and they went back outside to my vehicle to verify. BEWARE! ******** auto/accident report is not accurate when given with the sale of the car. I bought a ******** **** *****from the Roseville branch. At the time of the sale, I was given an accident report from ******** that showed 0 accidents. A couple of months after buying this car, I didn't feel right about it, so I pulled up a ****** report.
