CarMax has no respect for their customers. They are the epitome of the sterotypical used car dealer. Rather than being up front and honest they lure you in and then do not stand behind what they have promised. Terrible customer service.

I recently bought a Audi s6 from Carmax of ******** **** off **********. And no later than 3 days later i have to return it due to a problem with what we figured out to be later a differential problem. I then proceeded to take me car back to them and asked them to fix it and keep in mind the car has only 44k miles on it. If I could give no stars I would. Awful customer service, there is no direct phone number to reach anyone. There is not enough space to type the list of complaints I have. I am dissatisfied as a customer, a human being and a mother. I was not met with the level of care you guys promote, nor was the car I bought.

I purchased/ finaced a 2016 ***** 6 car on June 24th and 1 week later it broke down carmax sent me a tow truck 3 hrs later. The car was priced at $19,000.. it is now July 28th and the car is still sitting in the lot where the tow truck left it at the carmax dealership in ******,**. Carmax made an offer for my vehicle. However, when I brought my vehicle in, they found minor defects and reduced my offer from $1800 to $500. They are running a scam. ****************** is a dishonest business.

While the car buying experience was OK it was not great. Having a schedule appointment, as we did, meant we had to wait ******************************************************** they were busy but the delay was never communicated to us. Speaking of communication, they are miserable in that area. We did purchase a 2019 hybrid vehicle that we really like and are satisfied with. WHAT A JOKE; they offer a low ball appraisal and when I ask them about the 10K worth of (verifiable upgrades like brembo brakes/magnaflow exhaust/***** hi flow air system) they said the appraisal is what it is. They specifically said any modifications don't add any value. Really said that!!!!!

I thought I was getting a good car but turns out I wasnt. There was something wrong each time with my car. I purchased one car then had a lot of trouble with that one so ended up being put in something else. Also having a lot of trouble with that car as well. This is by far the worst experience ever!!!
