We got so lucky not buying a car from here. First we received the run around for about a month about the title that was never received or lost in the mail. We paid to have it transfered from Oklahoma, luckily we received a refund of the delivery fee. Then when we finally got a call that they found the title, there was some damage to the car and the last reason we decided not to buy this car. Very, Very bad experience....Carmax bought my car, and apparently they were given wrong payout information OVER THE PHONE...short paid my loan....now I owe money to close out loan and they have my car...I took them a document that shows the actual payoff, and they told me to take a hike, they won't fix...all based on a Phone payoff with no paper trail....I even called the store manager Michael J******...and was told too bad, so sad...won't happen...can't help you...been a customer and both wife and I bought are last 7 cars f... read more

Had car to be shipped from another Carmax location to Louisville. I excited to get to test drive it and purchase the car. Immediately I realized that the vehicles did not have the sunroof that was advertised. I understand that accidents happen, but they said they would not adjust the price for the sunroof. They literally told me the car would cost the same if it came with a sunroof or not. Actually that is not the case, it's usually a $**** premium to have a power sun roof/moor roof. shop for a car for 1 month , found the car got it shipped from New York ,test drove it , got a buyers order ,dealt with a in- experience sales person got the check from bank put insurance on car and had a cashiers check for $****** and they sold the car within 24 hours under our nose Carmax Kenner Louisiana 1/20/22

I purchased the car from Carmax in Greenville,Sc in March 2020. I paid my taxes in February 2021 and never received my registration and sticker. Went to the *** to learn that my vehicle was registered in another state. I’ve been on the phone constantly with corporate and the Carmax I purchased my car from with a lot of promises to get the issue fixed. I bought a **** **** ******** sport from Carmax in Hartford ct on April 23rd 2020.. I put $**** down. 6 days after buying the vehicle my check engine light came on. Brought it to Carmax on the 7th day (I had it inspected before bringing it back) they found a leaking rear differential seal, and the alignment also was off, plus the check engine light for an AGS performance .. they had my **** for 2 weeks and paid for my rental. We have a unique situation in that we are stationed overseas on military orders. We left a car in Fayetteville, North Carolina. We thought we would be able to return but it appears as though we are not so we tried to sell this vehicle. I called four times to talk to representatives on what we needed to do to be able to have a third party sell this vehicle for us. Carmax financial is horrible. They have not reported that my husband and I paid the loan in full in December and I’ve called twice about it and had to file a dispute with all the credit bureaus for each of us! Must be getting paid to tank people’s credit. Will never use them again.

Sold my car to carmax on DEC 30 and my check was mailed to the wrong lien holder , which is 5 miles down the road and now they are playing the blame game, corporate blaming the store and the store is blaming corporate. Do my lien holder gives me a call saying my car not is 12 days late
