TLDR: Don't even bother coming here if you are going to use your own finance company. They have no idea what they are doing and don't even understand Arizona law regarding registering EVs. I ordered a car on Thursday said it would be here in 4 days didn’t show up until Thursday the following week no one was ever able to give me updates about it only to find out the car had been there for 3 days but the trim was messed up and they were trying to replace it but never told me that any of the times I called prior. I like the car I bought however I had to pay ** bucks for it to be shipped to Jackson Tennessee from St. Louis under the assumption from the carmax website and ********* that the vehicle had never been in an accident, wrong, according to ****** it had indeed been in a moderate accident in the front and in the back. Don't patronize this business. I paid the shipping for a vehicle to be moved to another location, and the dealer proceeded to sell the vehicle out from under me. They didn't even contact me. When I attempted to find out what happened, they sent me a text. I had to threatened to contact my credit card company and dispute the charges before they would consider giving me a refund. Do not do business with CarMax.

On 6/11/21 Traded in my **** ******for a **** ******. Already had Capitol One finance approved when I went in for the trade in. Make the deal and left with new truck. 7/26/21 I received a phone call from Sales Manager stated Capital One didn't approve the gap insurance and that I needed to bring the vehicle back so they can refund and re-purchase, which means their running my credit again. I have made a few purchases from here in the past with my wife and have had good experiences. I recently went to go purchase a new/used car and in the process of me trying to purchase the vehicle, the manager comes over to me and says "something" did not allow them to forward paperwork to proceed with financing so they have the right to refuse to do service with me and I can no longer purchase any more vehicles with Carmax and said he cannot tell me why and even corporate cannot even tell me why on the open floor and I was e... read more

I am disappointed in CarMax’s deceitful tactics and approach to my recent efforts to buy a car from the Naperville CarMax. On July 9th, I called and asked that a car be prepared to ship for me. Their 24-hour test drive is bogus. Its non-existent. Its just a ploy to get your contact information and get you to visit the dealership. I am interested in a *** **** and wanted to compare the **** model year to the **** model year to see if its worth paying the extra buck. This dealership’s management is absolutely terrible. We ordered a vehicle and were never notified that it arrived. After calling dozens of times, I was told the title had issues and they were unable to sell the vehicle. We then ordered another vehicle and it was shipped to the wrong city. When they figured out it was sent to the wrong city, they shipped it again. When we went to test the vehicle, it was in horrible condition and was obviously not checked by the dealership.
