I bought ****** ******3 months 14 days ago at Carmax. One day, the engine light was on, and it turned out the transmission has to be replaced. The cost is over **** dollars. I went to the Carmax to discuss it. They said they don't take any responsibility because 3months warranty already passed and I don't have extended warranty (*** ****). Carmax is very unprofessional.They have scammers working for their company.I experienced $****** for 2 payments but they still can’t explain to me what happened to my money , blaming the bank telling me the payment was reversed.Around 2/20/21 did a phone transaction where Carmax took my routing, account and debit card information (which they was and still working from home, can hear kids in the background). Worst car buying experience ever. Carmax had my credit ran 14 times with 14 hard inquiries on my credit report. I got approved through my bank. I proceeded with the purchase of the vehicle and paid the transfer fee. The vehicle was transferred to the Oaklawn office on May 12th as of May 27th I still have no vehicle. Never can reach anyone in there Oaklawn office for status. You can only reach the call center. The call center hasn’t been able to assist me. To start was told vehicle could be delivered to my residence and my trade in to be picked up. Located a vehicle to be transferred to local store. Completed financing to be told afterwards that the vehicle no longer had a hold and was sold. Second vehicle found and again was sold. I did not have a good experience with Carmax in Tyler, Texas. I flew from Pensacola, Florida. I called the night before to the dealership, and informed Gabriel, the representative, that I would be arriving on Saturday and to hold the ***** **** ****** ******for me. We reserved a car the we had looked for a long time for on Friday 5/21 ! We received emails and texts saying this vehicle is reserved for you. Turns out without informing us they sold it to someone else and cancelled our order. I spoke with Kennesaw, GA location and she blamed it on Kansas City and blamed it on the company’s bad software while never owning up that they sold it to someone behind us. They Won’t call us back with a solution. Definitely not a system we trust anymore.

My husband and I decided to purchase a vehicle from Carmax around late Jan to Mid Feb. We paid the money to have the vehicle transferred. I received an email confirmation that the payment was successful and that we would be notified throughout the process. We waited, and waited and waited but to no avail.
