Horrible experience their vehicles are kept in bad condition, dirty inside and out probably to hide damages or cosmetic issues that you see only once you have made a purchase and the car is washed and cleaned ( then you are able to see all cosmetics issues...scratches, dents etc If you find and issue with the vehicle you purchased Their management will tell straight to your face that it meets their requirements and they will not fix it. I paid $*** to Carmax to have a car shipped from Massachusetts to Northwest Indiana. Called Friday(Feb 5) it was there. They were doing the final inspection and told me they will text me when it's ready. Got no text.. Called today and they sold it! I spend a lot of time searching for a car and waiting for it to be delivered only to be sold. I am so angry!!!!!!!
I bought a **** *** ***. Had a minor problem fixed immediately. Then oil filter problem which was fixed incorrectly and I ended up with oil leakage on engine block and concrete floor. *** dealer said putting wrong cap on car common mistake by non *** SERVICE SHOPS. OTHER MINOR ITEM REPAIRED PROMPTLY and properly by CarMax even though warranty was over when I requested service. Will definitely deal with them again.
I think there customer service is very unprofessional they sold my wife a car with no oil in it she drove for 2 1/2 weeks and it was knocking check engine light came on and they told us we had to wait 2 weeks before it could be inspected Carmax is garbage in my book treat u like you don’t even matter
BEWARE OF THE TRANSFER! I have been searching for a car for quite some time , and after finally deciding I would try a 4-door car for the first time in my life, I came across a black ***** ** *** at the Charlotte location. The dealer tried to pass off a vehicle as having no accidents or history of repairs. Upon delivery it was clear that the nearly new low mileage car had been partially repaired after an accident. The delivery associates and sales manager eventually admitted that this is standard practice for them. Don not place any trust in this business!
CarMax is THE WORST. My van had an issue, engine issue so pretty serious, and we bought the warranty through carmax. They had my van 3 days and it just sat there before sending it to an auto shop to be fixed, Oh but, they will only reimburse you for a loaner car for up to 7 days... And those 3 days your van sat there are part of your 7 days ?? The sold me a crap car, just like everyone else I'm sure. Told me it was problem free and inspected, I knew that people had issues with them but I bought it anyway thinking that if I also got their warranty at least I could get the free repairs. Inexperienced mechanics took over 3 months to replace a Turbo at the end charged the warranty company over ** for repairs. While trying to sell the car, the buyer took down the price by ** because he noticed that the turbo was not correctly installed and was leaking oil. Never buy or deal with these people. Stay away.
