This is the worse place to ever buy a car. They sold me a hybrid car with a faulty warranty that don’t cover anything. My cars hybrid battery is $**** dollars and they aren’t offering to cover a thing. They will fix your car just enough until you are out of your manufactures warranty. CarMax curbside buying is false advertising. We drove 300 miles on approved credit, spent 3 hours on the phone the night before and once we got to CarMax we spent another 3+ hours to be told we didn't have enough information to make a purchase. This was one of the worst experiences we ever had. They will pre-approve you to get you into the office then say they have to re-run your financing which the brings your credit down and down and down until you're hit and you're no longer able to be approved. This company does not even deserve a star. They are a complete ripoff, especially, for people that do not have good credit, they prey on those that have bad credit. If you do purchase a vehicle at CarMax, please do NOT finance your ar through them. They add on ridiculous fees and if you do not pay, they will repo ( A repurchase agreement, or 'repo', is a short-term agreement to sell securities in order to buy them back at a slightly higher price) your vehicle. Purchased a vehicle online, ran my credit, appraised my vehicle and picked a lender. Was told the transfer would take a week. After week no word from Carmax, I called and they said the car had been promised to another suitor too. That suitor started their buying process a week after me but they would be getting the vehicle. I was offerred a sorry. Zero incentive, just sorry. They did run my credit multiple times. But all I got was sorry, pick another vehicle. Not at all customer oriented.

Buyer BEWARE! Be sure and have your vehicles inspected when you buy from Carmax in Loveland. We have had 2 vehicles within one year that we had inspected prior to the 7 days they allow for return that were completely rusted as if flooded vehicles. The first was for our daughter- ********* ********did a thorough inspection and found RUST all under the very nice ****. They tout they do thorough inspections and do NOT SELL FLOODED CARS- not true! This was the worst experience I've ever had buying a car, or should I say, TRYING to buy a car. We went with Carmax solely for the home delivery aspect. We went through pre-approval process for financing, was approved, and picked out a car. We submitted all the requested documentation the day before delivery. The day of the delivery we were called and told they were unable to deliver and had to do curbside pickup or reschedule. We chose to do curbside. I financed a vehicle with Carmax 4 years ago. I STILL owe more than twice what the vehicle is worth. I owe $******, the vehicle is in great condition but I can only get $**** for it. I can't trade it in because I'm upside down. I can't sell it without a title or I would have to pay the difference to get it. CarMax won't work with me, they own the cars, they own the finance company, they own the car lots, what overhead? Why can't they work with me? They sure know how to take advantage of someone in need.

I asked for a **** ****** ******* **to be brought up to the Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL store. It was an extremely nice deal being a car with only 3k miles on it and a really nice look. They called to confirm the car had arrived and set up an appointment to test drive. My son then took off from work and drove down from Savannah, GA to test drive and buy the car. Prissy, predatorial people. I'm from a small town with an even smaller family so being out ****+ because they sold me a car not even worth the asking price at all.
