Caring, friendly and a great surgeon.
He's conservative & didn't push surgery but suggested exercises to leasten the pain. I was pleased.
Met with Dr. Shafer regarding shoulder pain that wouldn't go away after a badly-placed flu shot. Dr. Shafer listened to my concerns, was friendly and knowledgeable. I felt good about his conservative treatment plan and would recommend him to others.
Had a torn rotator cuff. Surgery went smoothly and my recovery is progressing better than expected. All in all an excellent experience.
I had a problem with my shoulder which impacted my golfgame. Also I have problems with my knees probably caused by old age. Both problems were fixed.
Dr. Shafer and the entire staff were excellent. The facility is also excellent.
First time visit with Dr Shaffer. Was been immediately by the Doctor and his PA. X-rays taken and read very quickly. Situation clearly explained to me. Was given a cortisone shot and instructions for future care. Friendly and professional iffice. Highly recommend.
Dr. Shafer is a great doctor who takes the time to listen and then give his advice. I've seen him for two surgeries and various other orthopedic concerns since 2008 and never left his office unsatisfied or upset. Always great medical advice and care.
Very good experience with everyone.
