Everyone was very friendly and efficient. Very personal. Dr. Shafer makes sure you understand everything. Highly recommend.
Always appreciate Dr. Shafer's conservative approach to treatment. Surgery is the last option, not the first.
He was very direct and made it easy to understand ... minor injection and much improved
Needs help with communication. Appears to be interested only if you have a surgical problem. Abrupt to the point of appearing rude. Yes he is busy. Yes he is an excellent surgeon. But does he enjoy his work? His life?

On-time appointments. The front office staff was very friendly! Dr. Shafer and his PA TJ are incredibly personable, kind, and caring. They are both detailed in their examination and explanation of a treatment plan. I left his office feeling confident that I will do well under his care. When it is time for surgery he will be my Doctor.

Have been going to Dr. Shafer for 15 years. He takes time to listen to the patient, he offers options if they are available and he speaks and explains at a level that provides comfort.
Brian is smart, cordial and competent. He tells it like it is and makes sure you are satisfied with the information.
