Everyone we deal with is very nice. But this firm is obviously suffering from serious disorganization. It can't even manage its dispatch process professionally let alone resolve a thermostat issue. The equipment issue may be a manufacturering/design problem over which it has limited control. But the scheduling issues and installation issues reflect poor training, bad management oversight, and insufficient concern for the customer experience. I utilized Chas Roberts to replace my water heater less than two years ago. This morning, it was broken and I had no hot water. They came out to look at it and said the bottom was burned out and it would be a $229 repair. They made a big deal of saying they were giving me a discount. I asked about the warranty, as the unit was less than two years old. I received the response that it was "parts only." Ms. *******, although we can appreciate your frustration, we are a bit perplexed by your review. The water heater you purchased had a 1 year labor warranty and a 6 year part warranty that is provided by the manufacturer. There is a workmanship warranty provided by Chas Roberts on our installation for two years. However, the part that failed is not a result of the workmanship of our installation. I recently had warranty work done on my Trane unit. The technician said it was possible that the thermostat was defective and he would order a new one. 1 to 5 business days to receive the new one he said. Turned in to allmost 3 weeks with no contact. When he came back he installed the thermostat. I received no box no paperwork for the unit. I later found out it was a used thermostat last registered in a different city. So that explains why there was no box or paperwork. I also never received my new return they were supposed ... read more

One of my worst service experiences. A dishonest plumber showed up to fix a small leak in my main line. The landscaper had already dug up the area and exposed the leak. The plumber claimed he would have to cut concrete and quoted $800 for the job. It turned out he just had to dig mud 6 inches deeper and replace an elbow joint. Less than a 1 hour job. Criminal! He did a lousy job too bending copper tubing a lot to replace the elbow. The sad thing for me is that I only agreed to the quote as my previous experience with the AC ... read more

This is the very worst HVAC company in the valley. They installed a system in our new home and don't stand behind it. We waited all day for a technician and every time I called I was given a run around. The tech came almost four hours later than promised and spent half the evening ******* down a leak he couldn't find. He left and the temperature rose to degrees higher to 90 degrees! Very unreliable, they fix my unit half way. I was charged me $504.02 for a new motor and they took off without telling me the coil & filter was dirty. It broke down again, so I got a different company to look at it and it was finally fix right. I will never recommend or use Cash Roberts again.

The compressor windings were open due to thermal overload. We recommended replacing this, and you agreed. After installing this part - the system was cooling. I scheduled my AC service appointment a month in advance. They were supposed to come today to do annual service between 9am and 12pm. I am at work, but my mom was home all day. They have both of our phone numbers. They left a voicemail message on my phone at 8:38am saying I needed to call to confirm service. I didn't get the message right away since I am at work.
