Do not send your loved ones here. no one has a clue what they are doing. my dad was put on a no food at midnight Tuesday saying hos procedure was wed morning. they couldnt do it cause the doc didnt approve it cause he needed to see ct scan. so no reason he couldn't eat. they failed to give him breathing treatment for aver 10 hrs. he finally got procedure. went to find waiting room. no one k rw where he was 30 min or mpre we walked around desk to desk trying to find where we should be so surgen could come talk to us.. then to... read more
they are very rude and racist. they don't care about the well being of African American patients. if they think you came for meds then they refuse you proper care for what you actually came in for. to be exact Dr James McLachlan md is a racist.
Two years ago I was hospitalized at Borgess for a knee replacement. There were complications after surgery and they took very good care of me.
Fantastic place great people
We used Ascension Borgess for the birth of our son and I'm very glad we did. He ended up coming into the world at 34 weeks, after my girlfriend ruptered at 33 weeks. Every member of the labor and delivery staff stepped up and handled the situation flawlessly. They attended to our every need, made sure we knew what was going to happen in advance of every step of the process, and respected the decisions we made on our medical treatment even when it didn't see eye to eye with their recommendations. friendly, caring clean, not fond of patient food
We were just at Borgess Hospital in Sunday. I was shocked by how run down the ER and cafeteria were! The one! Bathroom in the ER waiting room was filthy, the waiting room was somewhat full and did not have enough chairs for half of the people there. The cafeteria was dingy with most of the lights turned off or on very low making it very difficult to see as well as the food was disgusting in appearance and very very limited. I feel so very sorry for any patients or visitors who have to make use of their ER or cafeteria .
