My mother waited 18 hours for a heart cath today which never happened. Finally she was told that it will happen tomorrow. In the meantime she had no food and 2 or 3 sips of water so she could take her high blood pressure medicine, Seriously Borgess.?! This is how you treat your patients? Endless waits and no communication??!!
Food was great, though I'd gone 20 hrs. without eating. •☆☆☆☆•
Sitting here waiting to be checked in, the ladies that check people in are at there desks, not helping anyone. Very poor customer service.
The worst experience I have ever had!!! Patient was ready to go to room from recovery. It took them over 5 hours to get a room cleaned as they say STAT. Which must mean a slow as we can. The overall of this hospital it is filthy. Never ever will I go to Borgess again.
In 2012 I was taken to Bronson for chest pains and it turned out to be pneumonia. I was checked in and in a room within two hours. Today my Dad arrived by ambulance to Borgess ER. We are still here waiting almost four hours later for information. IN the ER room that I suspect they are going to charge Medicare by the hour. If I EVER need emergency care in Kalamazoo, my family knows to take me to Bronson. Never Borgess. This service is terrible.
**update** I have received several emails from management regarding this matter, they are sorry for the "perceived" rudeness I experienced and will take no responsibility for the actions of their employees, as of this morning they consider my complaint as closed. Nothing has been resolved. I had an appointment at Borgess Family and Internal Medicine today. I have never been treated so poorly by a "Medical Professional" in my life. It is good hospital
If I could leave 0 stars I would. The check in girl was completely rude, especially since it was my first time ever going to this ER. I was very visibly upset and you could tell I had been crying from pain. I tried to tell her why I was there without letting the whole waiting room and the people behind me know, it is not something embarrassing but it’s my HIPAA right.
