Overall I have been please with the Banfield in our town. They have given our dog great care. My only complaint is with their billing policy, not with our Banfield itself. My CC info was recently stolen and I got a new card. I forgot my monthly Wellness payment was on my old card and therefore it did not go through. However, a few weeks after the fact I got an email about the missed payment. I went online to change the card number and pay the **** and noticed an additional $20 charge. Ive had many pets in my life and since recently moving to **********, this has been by far the worst place Ive ever chosen to take an animal I love to. After countless amounts of procedures and visits, and an outrageous amount of money spent over months, there was never a problem found with my cat after bringing him in sick multiple times for the same issues. I don't know what has happened to this place in the 3 years we were gone, but they are awful. The first time we brought our dog back for a checkup after we moved back to the area, ***** at the front desk failed to input our dogs records while having them for over two weeks. The check in tech didn't review the records either, nor did she go over with me that our dog would be receiving vaccines that she had just received weeks prior to us moving back. Took my diabetic pom there 3 weeks ago she was weak and could not walk the vet told me her vitals were good! Three days later we had to put her down because her liver and kidneys had shut down! I wrote a bad review on their website and got emailed a message from the head of that hospital and she said we were told her sugar was 450 and that we declined any kind of help! That is a lie, that dog meant the world to me! These people are evil they will say anything to cover their ass??

They refused me service and failed to contact me back via phone and email. Im not paying until my cat gets her fair services and receive a monthly discount for not giving my cat one of her shots when I took her to an appointment; Corporate told me this I didnt even know. But they wont help me.

Horrible.... Don't go there. I'm new to the area and I had no vet... Took my dog to Banfield for her check up and shots. I got there at 11:30 am and was told to return in two hours. I got my dog back at 4:30. 5 Hours for a checkup and shots?????? I had written down my concerns on the forms I was asked to fill out. When I get there to pick her up and asked the doctor about my 2 concerns he hadn't even checked these things. So he did it when I was there. Again.... 5 hours for a check up and shots? Let me start by saying that I am both a nurse and a type 1 diabetic - I understand the importance of quality care... but what Banfield is charging is absolute price gauging.How is it possible that I went in for my dog to receive fluids and anti-nausea medication, and upon recommendation from the vet, whom I trust with the care of my dog, I am paying $800 for bloodwork and x-rays - on top of paying $50 a month for a wellness plan.I called local vet clinics in the area to see just how taken advantage of I have been and this pr... read more

My wife and I were attracted to Banfield by their Insurance program that seemed very reasonably priced for the extent of services provided. Unfortunately, our experiences with their treatment services for our 2 dogs, outside of the routine shots etc., have been abysmal.
