do not recommend this "hospital" or vet services here. Took our cat here for a urinary blockage they kept him all day, were unable to relieve the blockage. We were charged $573 told the just weren't equipped to properly treat the blockage that we could take him to an ER for $4000 or have him euthanized. By the time we found a hospital capable and willing to help him he passed away from something that could have been prevented.

I hate to write this review, but people need to know about the Banfield location in ***********, **. I tried working with the Chief of Staff *************** on multiple issues, but they have only continued and they have now told me that my dog is no longer welcome to boarding. I have brought up multiple valid concerns on how theyve handled the boarding process and **************** was aware and even agreed that there were issues. I have been taking to dogs to petsmart for years and enrolled them all in the wellness plan. Since covid when we haven't been able to do in room visits the service *****. I now have to drop my dogs off and wait for a vet to call with their findings. Usually several hours later. Always the response is "I'm sorry the vet has been involved with a very difficult surgery all morning" I'm sorry why are you scheduling appointments while the vet has surgery. My dog was with them for 9 years, thankfully he didn't have any major issues. But he passed this week and when I called to cancel his subscription I was told about ALL the money I had saved and that I still had to pay out my year so I owed over $200 for my dog that was gone. REALLY, are you really trying to say you haven't made out like a bandit on all your accounts!!!It's absolutely ridiculous that DEATH is not a reason to cancel.Yea they really care about your pet.

After being a loyal family to Banfield for over 5 years we will have to make the decision to find another vet. Our dog had to be euthanized which was something we saw coming prior to our wellness plan renewing so we requested that the plan not be renewed, however, the plan still auto renewed. Their policy is you can cancel anytime if you haven't used any services of the plan without any penalty, you simply are out the money you already paid. I would give Banfield Pet Hospital on ********** in *********, ** a zero. I have taken both my babies to this location; one dog for 14 years and the other about 4. The original staff and vets that worked there were amazingly caring and compassionate individuals that really cared about animals. Over the years this has changed drastically. I enrolled my dog ***** in their wellness program since be was 3 months old. He is now going on 7 years. I kept up with all the preventive care appointments. In November of 2020, I took him in for his wellness check according to them everything look fine his sugars levels were a little off. By January **** my dog was blind. I feel that they would have been able to prevent it by giving him diabetes meds. STAY AWAY!!! I had the worst experience with them. They sell the plan as insurance at the hospital, to later find out that it is a pre-paid plan for 2 visits per year. We liked the doctor my cat saw. Then he was no longer working at this location and they told be to go to another banfield if I wanted to see him which was 40 min away. I took him to my local center for his last visit with a diferent doctor. They gave me a long list of things that were performed. My cat was in for no longer than 7 minutes.
