DO NOT go to Banfield hospital in ***** - they are downright crooks. My 10 year old golden retriever passed away in September and I called a few days later to cancel our plan and they insisted I pay for the remainder of the year. No compassion, no concern for my dog or the grief we were feeling at the time. All they wanted to know is when I could make the next few payments. Im so disgusted with their service - abhorrent!

My dog went in for an X-ray for her leg. They called and said hey, we can also due dental cleaning, etc. and do the two procedures together. My dog went under anesthesia and here I am five days later in a real pet hospital. She was so sick and refused to eat for days. We took her back in and the vet asked, maybe she got into trash?? We literally told them she hasnt moved or eaten in 4 days.no, she did not get into trash and I am thinking you guys fd up the anesthesiaif I could give a zero I would.

Our dog has anxiety, he was diagnosed by Banfield as having anxiety. we used to get his meds there. and everything was fine until then they changed vets. That vet said he didn't have anxiety and just needed to be trained. They were happy to give us the name of someone who could train our dog for ******* plus. So, then his shots came due. he had all of his shots at one time and treated for tape worm. he was supposed to be treated for heart worm at the same time, yet later that day on Friday they called and said they could not ... read more

Terrible. We tried to leave before and we were convinced to stay with a promise of better treatment. Lies. These guys are dangerous for your pets. And they do not care. Now I have a sick dog, prescribed treatment does not seem to be working, and they refused to see her. We are foolish for trusting. Learn from our mistake.

I am quitting Banfield!!! I have been a client with a number of pets since ****. On Saturday, March 12, 2022 my grandsons cat Fox, who is on my plan, was taken to Banfield, in Leesburg when he appeared listless, wouldn't eat or drink. They had him from 8 am to 4 pm with only an examination. Did not administer fluids or pain meds. ****************** accused my daughter and son-in-law of being neglectful and they caused this to happen. Her diagnosis by a physical exam was renal failure. All of the staff were very rude. The vet... read more

Their wellness plan is advertised as something to help your pet but what they don't tell you and completely leave out except in small print is that you are locked into paying a full year no matter what happens. If you want to cancel they will charge you the full remainder of your plan all at once. I took my dog to them for "comprehensive" exams under the wellness plan yet they completely missed a condition that was killing him. When they finally noticed it was to late and they said it was from "undiagnosed condition" despite... read more

AM TRAUMATIZED.This morning I took my sweet pitty, ***** to Banfield hospital. She had a lump by her stomach and I was desperate to get it checked. I dropped **** off at 8:15am. By 1:45pm I still had not received a call from them to pick her up so I called myself. I was told she had too much energy for them to get a sample of the lump. So they told me they will schedule me for a week later and give me a Sedative?? to calm her down. And they told me I can get her at 2:30pm. I was already upset at the fact that my dog was in a... read more

We have been a member of Banfield since adopting our dog. Due to a recent experience with the ********, ** (#****) we will no longer be renewing our membership. I had tried to find an appointment on the app and when trying to book an appointment the app noted there was no availability for over 2 months! I then tried to call the location once the location opened and the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude. I call the morning of March 12, 2022, to try to see if there were any last-minute cancellations and/or get mor... read more
