They barely have appointments available, are not clear with their instructions, and do not follow up with your pets. I paid to have my dog's heartworm test over $150 so that they can provide me with the prescription, and continued to give him what I had on hand. And now because they have no records of me fulfilling the prescription they want me to dish out another $150 to get another test. No one cared to call me to let me know I needed to fulfill the prescription within 30 days. And my dog can't just take the test, I have t... read more

Banfield inside Petsmart in ******* have bad customer service. ********************** customer service oer the phone gave us inaccurate information & when we tried to bring our puppy in for heartworm appt. it became chaotic with the workers inside the ******* Location after it was explained to them what was told to us over the phone. 4/7/2022 10am today I attempted to call BANFIELD PET HOSPITAL for appointment rang at least 8 times voice mail said try later 3:30 pm tried again rang no answer. voice mail call back later again. .Went on their web site 3 times would not allow me make make reservation says to call their Canoga Park ** clinic.THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOU REMARKS HOW DOES THIS VET PRACTICE STAY IN BUSINESS NEVER IN MY LIFE WOULD I ALLOW SOMEONE TO ACT THIS WAY.THEY DO NOT EVEN ANSWER THEIR PHONE I GOT A FREE VET VISIT COUPON THEY ARE A ONE STAR!!!... read more

Every time I call, I'm put on hold and after 15 mins it automatically hangs up on me. They don't even ask if I could hold, please. It's extremely rude.

This is the absolute worst "vet". They only care about money for wellness plans and do not actually care for the wellness of the pet. My Bulldog has severe anxiety when at the vet. I have expressed this many times. They shove her in a cage all day and over book their appointments. The last time she was dropped off, I picked her up and she would not eat, drank so much water and was shaking the entire night. We have been Banfield customers for over 20 years in areas where a Hospital was located. Never have we been so horrified at the lack of customer service and care for our *********************. Our latest rescue has been to Banfield for four times in 2 months with symptoms that have not responded to treatment. If I could rate lower than one star, I would. Let me start by saying we have been pet plan subscribers at Banfield for roughly 10+ years. We have 3 dogs which Banfield does not hesitate to deduct $120+ A month out of our checking account for. Our dog has been dealing with diabetes for ~5 years and recently has begun having issues with his glucose spiking and going below minimums. I just had the absolute worst experience at Banfield ******!! Ive been coming here for 3 years for the same pet and for a year or more at my dogs comprehensive exam I share my concerns about her frequent greasy foul smelling upset stomach and vomiting; which once a prescription dog food was recommended but not in stock. Horrible customer service and experience I have been with them for over 13 years and have never been treated this badly by a location and a corporate center as well!
