We brought our dog to be checked if she "still" had an ear infection. I felt I was cleaning her ears properly, but obviously not good enough. they said they couldnt do an ear swab because there was still "gunk" in her ear. that is understandable. But what i am most confused about is "why wouldnt they just have cleaned her ears while she was there"? It made no sense to me that they stated I hadnt cleaned her infected ear well enough, which I take full responsibility, but any "vet" would have cleaned her ears of the "gunk" tha... read more

Last Tuesday (4/26/2022), my dog developed what I thought was an eye infection. I took her to Banfield / ********** as I have a wellness plan for her with them. I was told by the front desk woman that there were no openings as they only had one ************ on staff that day. She mentioned that she could set up an appointment two weeks out. This was unacceptable as my dog had a medical emergency and could not wait to get care that long. She said, well you could go to another Banfield location and maybe they could help the do... read more

I took my puppy into the *********** ********** Banfield pet Hospital. She was having severe diarrhea and frequently urinating. She was in heat, so I assumed it was normal. But I can tell she started feeling lethargic and not eating. So I was able to get her in to see the vet. Which is rare because usually they never ever have same day appointments. I get a call from the vet she says my dog has Pyro Mitra which is rare for puppies of six months. But to be sure she wanted to run bloodwork and do an x-ray which cost $800. Afte... read more

If you want to make a HUGE mistake, like we did, sign up for their insurance plan! The upselling is absurd! If you think these people are surviving off the insurance plan $$ you should think again. They survive off the ***** It's their job to pump your pet full of as many MEDS as possible. That's how the Banfield vets keep their jobs! They have quotas and I'm sure they are forced to attend company upselling seminars at least twice per month. My wife dropped off our Chocolate Lab, Coco, yesterday in **********, ** for the incl... read more

I cannot recommend *********** Banfield Pet Hospital. My MinPin became sick and had numerous trips to the vet. I ultimately ended up getting an ultrasound through ***** to try to determine the issue. Banfield never reached out to me to discuss the results and my dog was getting sicker and sicker every day. The Monday before my dog passed away, I called Banfield multiple times to see if I could speak with the vet. I was told she was with other pets and would call me back. Nothing. I called back, the person answering the phone... read more

My dog has been going to Banfield for 3 years. He has never had any issues or problems. This past appointment for a regular 6 month check up when we picked him up he had bruising and blood all around his mouth. We were told he was mussled because he was too hyper to examine. No other reason was given. My dog is an 85 lb pit hound mix. I was not bothered that the vet tech felt the need to put a mussel on him because I understand safety concerns when its a dog you dont personally know. I was however unhappy that it was placed ... read more
