When we first joined Banfield they were very thorough and attentive, now they are too busy and discourage you to stay with your pet. They want you to drop them off for a check up and keep them 8 hours. I made an in person appointment for our dog and my daughter took him only for them to take him away and to the back while she waited outside. We pay $50 / month for the pet care plan and this is just not okay. I will be canceling my care plan with this organization and finding a new vet. Stated it was their Covid Policy. Today... read more

First of all, I feel so sorry for ******* on the loss of her pet. How can any business charge for services when you cannot give any service anymore. It is like you keep paying insurance after you're dead. Absolutely ridiculous. They are all about making money instead of providing proper care/service for our pets. I have been Banfield Wellness plan customer for over 11 years and I can say without any doubt, based on multiple locations, that the quality of care, customer service, and follow-up have declined dramatically. I had my dog in for a comprehensive visit on June 1, and was offered a renewal of our heartworm preventative to be delivered by mail, as they do not carry TriHeart at the location. Horrible experience, never did blood work as I asked vet won't let you go in while examining pet. Was told to go see a surgeon and first question was how come no x-rays or blood work? Dog had infection that was not treated because banfield didn't do blood work

Major concern over inaccurate records on our pets regarding medication ordered through Banfield home delivery and insistence on unneeded tests required due to inaccurate records on medication. My dog died a few days after they renewed him for the next year. They absolutely refuse to stop charging. So, I am forced to pay for a pet that is dead. They are disgusting.

Have had recurrent issues with Banfield. Paid for the annual membership and even upgraded to include imaging after a visit where my puppy wouldnt bear weight on his leg. They said it was most likely just pretending for attention. Weeks later I took him for a haircut at PetSmart, staff there cut an eyelet of skin off his paw. Signed up for optimum wellness plan because it was explained to me that it would be more convenient in case of emergencies and would save me a ******************* in the case anything urgent happened to my dog.Boldface lies.
