I pay every month no problem.. but I cant bring my son in till when the plan renews.. then chatted with a rep on the app they told me I had to pay 50 dollars to cancel the plan and I had a balance of 700 dollars for services I didn't even use!!.. he has not been seen since last year. I will NEVER EVER recommend this place.. and even though I have been paying every month it's always weeks out to even make a appointment to get in! Biggest scammers

We booked an appointment for our cat at Banfield - TWO MONTHS in advance. Received a confirmation email. I could see an appointment on their app. When I called today to confirm, they said there is no such appointment. Another appointment is now after a month. BTW, we are on a monthly premium plan. And yes, when they rescheduled it, it got updated in the app. Conclusion? There was an appointment on their calendar. They are just waiting for the plan to end and not perform covered procedures.

They have you pay a monthly fee to help care for your pet but are utterly unable to schedule you in for anything besides routine checkups a month or more out. For example, our dog had a simple sore spot on his ear that he was scratching. We needed him bandaged. Two weeks until they were able to see him for a simple bandage. We've used them for too many years and had too many problems. Simple things - like a credit card change. They call you with an automated message that your card needs updated. Very upset with Banfield... even though we pay our monthly fee.. it always happens that something shows up "that is not covered"... this place has become a money gouging machine. They will charge you more that you expect. **** my words. Service is not what it used to be a few years ago... and staffing is always short. I expected much more from this hospital... Do not recommend, find somewhere else for your pet.

Banfield is a scam. My pet was an old patient .When he most needed them , they sent us away to another hospital. In Banfield they mis diagnosis my pets illness. At the another hospital they found out that he had brain s cancer. Please dont trust them. They pretend to care but they dont. Be always vigilant to their diagnosis and double check.

I couldn't afford the Wellness Plan anymore which was a long time ago. Its not worth the money with what I still have to pay out of pocket. However, I kept getting charged so when I tried to close my account, I couldn't log in. I had to manually block my card and replace it with another one just so they would stop taking money from my account. However since they couldn't charge the card anymore, they kept piling the payments one on top of another. Now I have a collection notice in my mailbox and I won't be paying it. The web... read more

If you consider care for your pet get it through your employer. Banfield lacks disclosure in their insurance plans and tricky upsells by the vet/receptionist. You go in and trust them to care for your pet and somehow end up getting tied to extended contracts and billed for services for another year as it auto renews. find a local vet who cares for you and your pet and build a long term relationship no a revolving profit center like banfield.

I gave a 1 star bc I cant give no stars. My dogs have been going to Banfield in *************, for over 5 yrs. My dog ***** goes to get a cytopoint injection for a skin allergy. Not only is ***-front desk lady, rude but shows no empathy. but she without fail, she gives us trouble booking the appointment- EVERYTIME!! Its always about the money for her. My pet has been a member of Banfield for 15 years. ******************* in *******.*****. I was very happy for many years with the service. Both at the front desk and with the veterinarian.
