Worst vet experience EVER! Keep your dogs away from them and their horrible service! My dog received a double vaccination I had specifically requested he not receive because he had gotten it 2 weeks earlier at the *************** I made sure it was typed in the notes at drop off. Neither the nurse nor the vet paid any attention and gave him the vaccine anyway. There was no apology. They kept my dog a cage for 8 hours due to Covid and still couldnt get his care correct. We took our cat havoc here and relied on the professionalism of the vets to handle her care. She was rejected several times due to being too fiesty, swatting, and unmanageable. We were notified of this hours later while she sat in her crate. They prescribed meds to calm her down for the next visit. The final time we took her there, she went in for weight loss, vomiting, rarely eating, and stomach gargles. The doctor literally said he's scratching his head trying to figure out what's going on. This vet calls my pet old at 7. Has prescribed my dog to have heart medication, liver supplements and when I went to another vet to get a 2nd opinion, I was told to take my dog off all prescriptions that my dog was perfectly healthy. I got a puppy for my dad for Xmas. After receiving the puppy we were told to get a check up from any clinic but not Banfield since they find them as over prescribed and over charges.

I think this vet precipitated an early death for my dog...and who calls a dog owner saying,,hey your dog is under anesthesia...you have 5 minutes to decide whether to extract 4 teeth.....excruciating pain for weeks and has never been the same since.

My dog was caged for over 5 hours without food or water. In addition she was not allowed to relieve herself in dignified and sanitary way. When I picked her up after 5 hours she was covered in f**** and urine. She was at Banfield for a "comprehensive exam" All they did was weigh her. I know theres people out there saying that this insurance with Banfield is great but I think its not worth the effort of trying to take your pet inside their office simply junk I would like to give no stars Theyre blaming it on the pandemic even before the pandemic the services was garbage simply garbage you pay your fees you go inside the office and its just a waiting period I cant not come to deal with it horrible please do your investigation before taking your pet to Banfield

This company has gotten so much worse in the last couple of years. I've been a banfield customer for almost 10 years, but in the last 18 months or so it's become impossible to get an appointment, even for serious issues with my dogs. I finally had to make appointments at other vet offices (including one trip to the emergency vet for $250), which of course cost $75 each even though I'm paying a monthly fee to Banfield for free vet visits. I had been with Banfield for over 23 years in several different states. Since the pandemic (2years) I was not able to bring my pet in for care as originally signed up for in their wellness plan . No in-person meeting . Either leave the dog alone all day at their site or you have to make a special appointment ( very few available) where they take the animal away and examine without you there.
