all they care about is money !!!!!!!!!!!! they don't care one bit about your pet. they want to get you in there and act like they care and then they start hitting you with all the things you should do or things you need to do and try and rack up the charges as much as they can. then if you decide not to do all that they have suggested they try and make you feel like c*** that your choosing not to do whatever they are suggesting. they use the love you have for your pet as a weapon to get as money as they can out of you!!!!!!!... read more

Do not go here. They will rob you of all your money. The Wellness program is a total scam. I can not say it enough. I just had to pay $325 to get out of the wellness program. I am currently fighting to get it removed.

The location nearest to my home failed to communicate to me that my dog had a severe heart murmur, we caught it too late after I took her to another emergency veterinarian not affiliated with Banfield. Lost her to heart failure this past weekend. Never trusting Banfield with a pet ever again.

I strongly encourage anyone NOT to enroll in the Wellness Plan. Please go to a Veterinarian or animal hospital and pay the 1 time fee. My dog died days after his comprehensive visit; when the doctor told me he was doing well just growing old. When I chatted with Banfield (couldn't reach over the phone) I was told that the 1 visit cost $600!!! That I couldn't cancel my plan and would have to wait for the renewal date in March 2023. I think there should be a law against this practice. I am going to contact my state legislator ... read more

Im an a Banfield wellness plan customer who is paying $90+ a month (including spay). I have been paying the plan for a year and it is about to be renewed next month. My dog got some skin issue last month. She was itchy and she kept biting her hair off. So I called Banfield near me and I was told that my dog has to wait for 6 weeks before a vet is available to see her. I took my 5 lb dog to this Banfield in *********** to find why he was sluggish and sleeping a lot. After the blood test, I was told that his kidney values were high and he has a urinary tract infection, so they wanted to change his diet to a prescription kidney diet. He was not to receive any chicken or other proteins. He was also prescribed omega 3 oil tablets, a phosphorous binder pill and antibiotics for 7 days. This companys customer service is extremely bad, they have no help page on their website which forces you to write an email or go to the online chat where you will sit waiting indefinitely. My dog is terrified of vets now, he previously loved them, but banfield strongly encourages drop offs instead of appointments, where they keep your dog for most of the day before they even get to him, this is for small thing like vaccinations, an allergy shot, checking our a rash on pawstuff that should take no more than 15 mins.
