I have had my two dogs on the wellness plan for 10 and 7 years. In that time, I have had to take them to the emergency vet so many times because this location couldn't offer an appointment for 1-3 weeks. Further than that, when I went to take my one dog off the plan, they told me they couldn't fit his teeth cleaning in before the contract end date, which was 3 months out. Company treats employees poorly & only care about the numbers. I worked for this company for close to 4 **************** due to the poor support from management . They only care about selling wellness plans that clients are never able to fully use due to hospitals being overbooked. Employees are underpaid, overworked & hospitals are always short staffed. Banfield is a joke. They profit off of your pet and only strive to make commission over actually caring about the "wellness" of your pet. Our pet passed away 2 weeks ago, and after attempting to cancel her wellness plan, they told me that we would have to continue to pay for coverage for the next 6 months for her and wait for it to cancel in March 2023. Why am I paying coverage for the next 6 months for an animal that is physically no longer here? Also, we had called the day after her passing to ask about cremation services.... read more

Banfield is not a pet hospital. If your dog is sick or needs real care, they send you elsewhere. They only care about upselling you products and services. You would be better off saving the money you are paying them and going to a real vet. Do not fall for their tricks the word pet hospital is a real stretch. I'm surprised they get away with it! I would give them no stars if I could.

This place is a money grab they prescribed a medication that they never have so we have had to go through chewy. They tell me we are in a relationship but only want to see your pet when its time to pay money! Dont use Banfield its a joke a ************************** is absolutely trash! This is the Banfield located at ****************************************************** Dont go there!

Im extremely upset that I took my dog **** to get spayed at Banfield. She was wearing a cone on her head and the tie wrap was so tight around her neck that it scraped her neck. I had to bring her back to the vet for a look at her neck. The vet provided her with the wrong size cone. I had to pay ***** for antibiotics for her neck because of their mistake.

We initially started going to our local Banfield in 2019 after the adoption of a senior beagle. We had a good experience that first year - we saw the same vet each visit, appointments were available within the week, we really liked our vet. The Wellness plan was actually a great deal for a dog that we didnt know well that had a lot of issues. They got him tuned up pretty quickly. Staff is great but the wellness program is a rip off. You do not save money by enrolling your pet and if you pet passes away they make you pay out the annual monthly enrollment charge.

My pup ***** got in a brutal doggy scuffle yesterday- hurt his leg but hes healin up quickly! ??Just want to shout out to Banfield Pet Hospital on 82nd for their amazing and sweet assistance! I called and talked to **** (hospital manager), texted him photos, he kindly gave me all the advice so we could avoid an anxious (and turns out, unnecessary) trip to the vet. **** was concerned, realistic and responsive.
