My cat was having issues eating so I brought him over to my local Banfield clinic. He has been a Banfield patient for 15 yrs. I had give him ********** to calm him , dropped him off at 9am. I just phoned Banfield to advise that my cat had passed away. The representative spent an undue amount of time expressing sympathy over my cat's death. At the conclusion he stated I would need to continue three month's payment in order for Banfield to collect sufficient funds to cover costs. I asked to speak to a supervisor or a corporate representative and he clearly had instructions to dissuade customers from this request. I tried to cancel on website and was unable to do so. I took my two two Senior Dogs to them for years I got this one vet to I heard the dog screeching I'm sitting outside waiting for them. Fact most of the people sitting there heard it the vet came out and yelled at me because the problems of dogs had when they and have had since I adopted him because they came with the medical problems. One had a heart murmur and she couldn't find it so she yelled at me. Which I found I'm not complaint to me. I've been going to Banfield for 7 years for 2 dogs (both the same age). I've bought into their wellness plans each year, never had an issue. This time around, they discovered one of my dogs has a heart murmur which required an ekg or xray or something to ensure he could handle anesthesia for teeth cleaning. No problem, I upgraded my plan to one that included the xray/ekg, whatever was needed. We took our Cat to Banfield Pet Hospital on **************. *******, **. yesterday. We had a 2pm appoint. no one was at the front counter to check us in and the other 6 customers that had 2pm appointments. We were taken to a room fairly quickly, and were instructed to put our Cat on the exam table which was covered in pet hair and slime from the previous pets. This company is all about the money. They don't care about your animals , they care about up selling. My dog lived 11 days after his last visit but they sold my an expensive food he never ate. Now that my puppy has passed away I still get to pay for a whole year of service. Apparently if you cancel then any "discount " goes away. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON. I've been a customer with multiple pets for years and apparently I'll still be paying for another year. On my deceased little friend.

We have used Banfield Pet Hospital for about 10 years and have had good service. As with any large organization there is a mix of personalities and individual experiences and they can vary. I would would like to call out the Docs and Vet techs over at the *********** ********** location for exceptional care during the dozens of visits. I had an ultrasound done on my lab today. I was quoted $420, $450, and finally paid $493. Why do we have a plan if its that outrageous amount. The doctor said next time it would be discounted. I wonder how much $420?
