Cutomer StefneG I have been using Banfield since I got my dog at 1 year old, he is now 8.5 yrs old. today i went in for a routine visit but my dog was sick. They did not want to renew my plan, because its a new policy that when a pet is sick you have to bring them back when they are well, so i guess the plan only works when the pet is well. Would not recommend Banfield to anyone! They cant keep ***************** lack of compassion when you loose your pet & try to cancel your plan is ridiculous! They expect you to continue paying your account even after your pet has died & no longer need their services. My dog passed with 4 months left on the plan, I feel sorry for those that have 11 months left & are forced to keep paying! Totally unsatisfactory, Banfield is all about the money, not whats best for ********** pet!

I have canceled my plan back in May 2022. My cat **** **** passed away and Banfield was notified. They are now trying to still collect payments of $115.90. This is also noted in our chart at the clinic. I dont know what this company is trying to pull but its total BS. Our Cat died, how disgusting with our death of a fur baby family member and this is the c*** this company pulls. I have been a loyal customer for over 14 years and Ive never hated a corporation more than I hate Banfield.At the end of the day, all they want is their money. And they dont care about their customers or their customers animals.. I brought my dog in to Banfield, hoping they could tell me what was wrong with him. Why was he not eating? Why was he not walking? Why was he throwing up? Why was he so tired? Banfield does not ever answer the phone to discuss accounts with anyone. I have called so many times just you be on hold for an hour or more. Finally you just hang up once you realize they will NEVER answer. They sent me to collection for my dog who sadly is no longer with us. They expect you pay for a pet who is no longer here. So, you want me to pay for a service that I CAN NOT USE? This is absolutely ridiculous! I want my this bill erased. If I can't use it, I won't be paying for it.

I have been a Wellness plan holder for over 3 years now without any problems until recently. After calling in to do a ruin check up I was given attitude by ********** for no apparent reason. I pay monthly and on time for the wellness plan just to find out I'm not able to exercise the plan when I want to as stated per there own terms. I will be cancelling soon as in both the ******* ** and ******, ** locations are both trash. Bad customer service and I don't trust them ****************** for my dog at all.

I was not told just how difficult it would be to cancel my wellness plan. In fact the phrasing my vet tech used was you can cancel anytime, she conveniently left out that you would still have to pay the balance of the plan. Yes, it is written in the agreement, but I think they intentionally know how misleading they are being by not having it verbalized. I will never use this vet again, once my wellness plan ends and Ive gotten my moneys worth of those unlimited office visits :)

DO NOT GET THE WELLNESS PLAN. IT IS NOT AN INSURANCE. I was sold the wellness plan 13 years ago as a pet insurance. I was told if my dog got sick I could take her to any Banfield. So when my dog got sick the soonest any banfield could see her was a week away. She passed 2 days later. They still want your money even after the pet passed. Go to a shot clinic don't waste your money here

*** had several issues that have gone unresolved. There is a high turn over of veterinarians with no consistency to the care of animals. Ive sent a dozen emails regarding my concerns that have gone unanswered. Banfield cares is really a lie. They care about the monthly payments and how many animals they can get in at once.
