5 stars for the staff they are very professional and take care of our pets very good. But the wellness plans are a trap. When you need support because of a lost pet, then they make you pay the rest of your plan. If you just past your renewal and your pets die. they tell you have to pay the full balance for the rest of the year which can cost as much as around $600 which is totally ridiculous. This is the time you need support and all the corporate cares about is getting the rest of your money.

I just renewed my Banfield plan and regret it. Ive been going there for years but they will not allow me to accompany my husky in the patient room since Covid and he is so nervous without me that they want me to medicate him with trazadone and today they asked me to muzzle him. No!! For years he was not nervous and allowed me to hold him and hug him while they examined him. They said he is trying to bite them and he has never bit anyone and I dont want him to bite anyone. I told them to just give him the vaccine while I hold... read more

Banfield Pet Hospital is still making money from one of our dead dogs. It's their "wellness" plans. All three of our pets were enrolled for a total cost of about $165 per month.I won't even get into how worthless the plans are when you actually need them. Banfield keeps pushing clients to join even when they don't have enough staff to care for the clients who are already enrolled.We were heartbroken when all three of our pets died in the span of a few months late last year. Left my dog caged for six hours without being seen for what I dropped him off there for said his body language looked scared and he was giving the staff side eye so they didnt want to take him out of his crate.. they didnt call me till 230 to come pick him up I dropped him off at 8 AM. Never again!! ************ abuse.

For one I just received an email from Banfield saying my account was suspended for non payment, I go to the banfield site and there is no place to tell me what why or what the amount I owe. So I go to chat and that person tells me 300 and something dollars. We talk about contract and all and she is really rude and says she will have them email me the signed contract.
