STOP STEALING MONEY FOR BOGUS INSURANCES
No airport shuttle pickup. Still waiting after 45 mins. Not acceptable!!!
Topped off gas in car less than half a mile from return to AVIS. AVIS charged me $12 for not returning it full because the computer said it wasn't full (it read full - the attendant agreed). Had to wait in line for 20 minutes to fix so I may miss my flight. Don't rent from Avis
I have rented several vehicles from Avis and have had multiple negative experiences with this company. The vehicles and car seats are often old and dirty and the service from the staff is usually poor. My last experience with Avis was the worst of all and I will be sure to never rent from them again. My partner and I returned the car 5 minutes late and they charged us an additional day for $100. No grace period what so ever. When I called customer service, the employee had no empathy. Not to mention that the workers at the Milan train station were rude and slow. It is an additional 10 minute walk to pick up the car, which means that even though we were 5 minutes late in dropping it off we still had the car 5 minutes less than 48 hours from entering the car. They put low prices to attract you and then they rob you, be aware of their terms and conditions. In Bucharest, they took from our card, and without our approval 240Euros (more than our car rental fee for 10days) for a little scratch that existed before we take the car!!! This is called FRAUD, unfortunately, we couldn't do anything because we had to catch our plane!! But now we made a claim with our bank and booking.com, waiting for their reply to know how we can get our money back from these THIEVES!!!
