Basically tried to steal $50 from me. Made a reservation for a vehicle online 2 weeks in advance had to cancel 20 minutes later. I was told that their policy was to keep $50 of the deposit no matter what. It took me an hour on the phone and 3 different people before I got my money back. My credit card company said not to waste my time with them I could just call in dispute it they provided no goods or services so I would get my money back anyway. I will never go here again for the rest of my life

Never use AVIS screwing costumers with EZ-Pass charge in US !!
On August 5, 2019 "Amazon Prime Day", Amazon & Avis partnered to offer: rent a car with Avis and get 30% back in the form of an amazon gift card! I did this and only received a 10% gift card! Amazon customer service said Avis needed to correct this, and Avis said "No, they can not correct gift cards!
