If you don’t like to be treated as stupid wallet, don’t even try to interact with AVIS. Completely fraud company with highly overrated prices, cheap fraudulent tricks and with absolutely no respect to clients. I had a journey to Italy in September 2018 for 12 days. 25 min standing at the car rental shuttle pick up area at LAX.... watching avis buses drive by like the pick up area is a freeway, never.stopping.one.time! Finally after 25 min, I RUN INTO THE STREET with bags to bus #4 about to pass me til I nearly block the bus to get on. Risking my life for a shuttle ride? I told them I did not want any additional items. Clerk said I just needed to sign a couple spots and go. I did not realize the clerk tricked me into signing up for $28 per day of loss waiver. This added over $100 to my bill. I will be recommending avoiding Avis to everyone I know. Although this was for personal travel. I will be sharing my experience with my company as well so we can be sure to put Avis on the do not use list.

Never again, DO NOT USED AVIS! We waited 2hrs to collect the car. Security deposit add to my credit card (so I thought) but no turns out we have been ripped off and miss-sold charged extra £440!! When questioned was told I had agreed and signed for ‘extras’. The signature isn’t even mine on the paper they have shown me and they are still arguing the refund! I made a reservation I found a much better price with another company. It had been 30 when I called to cancel. Plenty of time for them to rent to someone else and I was told there would be a $50 cancel fee. That is crazy! I am a disabled veteran with a limited income. $50 is a lot to me. That is pretty dang shady to charge a fee to cancel a reservation 30 min later. Nice car, easy pick up. Return at TPA felt rushed and caused me to leave behind a personal item in the car, then reaching the drop off office was impossible whilst still in the Airport!
