When we went to return our vehicle, there was no room to return it. Another returned car was partially blocking another return row. So to make the turn, we had to pull up and then back up to turn the wheels enough. There was no one on duty to help us, so we ended up running over spikes and flattening the front tires. Avis response, we should have bought the emergency roadside assistance plan. It was their parking garage that caused it not the roadside! Ontzettend slechte service, niet mee WILLEN werken. Geven continue verkeerde & halve informatie. Waardoor je als klant niet meer weet waar je aan toe bent Heel onvriendelijk, onbeschoft behandeld. Ook door telefonisch door de customerservices....werd gewoon door de meneer opgehangen. Hebben uiteindelijk nog €1000,- tegoed van dit starre klantonvriendelijk bedrijf. Echt nooit een auto huren bij dit bedrijf! Hadden via DoyouItaly een auto gehuurd. Helaas komen de regels tussen deze bedrijven niet overeen. Hier weet je als klan... read more

2 hour wait for a car. 6 employees working the counter 50 customers out the door at 11am, but it moved slow...rounding about 10 mins per customer. Definitely need to streamline the processes here. Opportunity for huge ROI for customer service. Even the preferred pickup area had a line. They have a nice bench area for parents with kids to wait. Had to Uber from Avis to make our noon meetings and came back at 4pm to an 80-minute wait (ie still waiting).

It is so bad that I can’t even describe. I am a preferred member and i am waiting for nearly 2hrs with no resolution. Avis, you guys need to get your shit together at this location. Promised 3 times and no SUV yet. This is probably the worst I am seen and I have traveled in 3rd world airlines. Latest: they cannot find the 3rd SUV promised. This is nuts.
