Very disappointed in the service here. I would highly recommend going with another provider. Long wait times in excess of 2 hours. Was told by an employee that even though the company knows the demand is high, they can't get employees to work because they know it is going to be bad and people are going to be mad. Your own employees don't want to be here. Sounds like poor management to me. Not the way I wanted to start my vacation
Absolutely horrific service from AVIS LAX quite honestly the worst customer service i ov ever had in my life. 2.5hrs waiting with a young child sleeping on a floor to then be told no cars. After showing my extreme unhappiness finally one arrived. Only reason however that I know there were no cars after standing 20 mins at desk and being ignored whilst he tapped a button to pretend he was doing something / playing with his phone and ignoring us. Horrible wait at LAX. Line is out the building over a hundred deep. Never ever never book AVIS!
I landed in LA at 3:00 and am still sitting waiting for my car. I was rented the car at 4:16. It is now 5:08. The employee told me this is normal for them.
Clearly not planned out with way more people than cars and agents. 50+ people waiting for cars!
45 min in line to be assisted. One hour at the counter waiting for an available car, and then, getting a dirty car. I was told that we could split the payment. When returning, waited 15 min until someone checked the car and 1 hour in line to pay. Couldn't split the payment. Rude attendants. Avis never more!
NEVER Rent from Avis at LAX! They cannot handle the amount of people at a large international airport. Over an hour wait to pick up a prepaid car. I will never rent from Avis again. Period.
Welcome to hell. 45 minute wait for a bus, to get to a line of 50+ people. Another half hour gone and barely closer... We try? Hardly...
