As a HOA board member, let me warn you about hiring Associa. We listened to the sales person and were impressed. Immediately after signing the contract, the problems started. In two years, they never answered the phone, rarely responded to emails and dropped the ball on every responsibility other than providing Town Square to communicate to our subdivision. Are you looking for a management company that takes there time before getting stuff done, like five months to get a window AC unit installed in your guard house? Are you looking for a company that doesn't mind waiting months or even years to correct your HOA annual fee statements even after the Board has told you multiple times that Associa was incorrectly billing homeowners? Would you prefer to have all your contracted work be quoted to their partner company immediately and have delays getting other quotes? Congratulations.... read more

This is a complaint against the Heron Bay Condominium C/O Associa Chicagoland. It has been 3 weeks since I called with an emergency with rain coming into my garage linked to the beams installed by a vendor that the association sent out. I have talked to ***************************** who is rude and has given us no help. The drywalls in the garage have been soaked and I requested part of the walls be removed for because of mold issues since they never sent anyone to dry and those walls have been wet for weeks now. I am the treasurer with an HOA that Associa is supposed to manage. They are 8 months behind on providing us with financial statements, several invoices have not been timely paid, assistance with managing our projects has been limited along with other requests which are unfulfilled. We have verbally expressed our dissatisfaction for several months and asked for improvement. We wish to have our contract terminated. From the very beginning when our condo switched to Associa, there was drama. They lost two of my direct deposit forms that I mailed- the first with their actual envelope. The accounting department doesn't return calls. We have never been informed when a repair has been made to a utility and we can resume using it, such as AC or water, despite asking them to follow this guideline that the management company is supposed to follow. Probably the worst customer service i have ever dealt with. They never respond to emails. Takes weeks to get a call back. Say they will fix your issue, then a couple weeks go by and nothing is fixed or handled. Supposed to power wash our homes every year. They have done it once in the past 4 years. They were supposed to paint all of our front doors and shutters last year. Still hasnt happened yet. HORRIBLE HOA.

Aa oceanfront condos and rentals has poor customer service. Gave them 29 days notice to cancel my trip due to a medical emergency. They refused to give me a fill refused a full refund. Unfortunate things come up! Don't rent from them!!

Stay far away! They have not paid our ****************************** for four months. Currently we sit in hurricane season in ******* with NO PROPERTY INSURANCE! When asked about why, our CAM said "There is no money". How is there no money when 99% of residents are paying dues.
