Worst Experience in my life. For a year, I've been living in HOA ****. Associa along with HOA attempt to steal money from residents using bogus violations without notifying the tenant about the violations given. They have hearings on the violations and don't allow nor notify the tenant about the hearing. They fine the resident and before the lease is up the resident finds out that thousands of dollars are now tied to their rent. This HOA people in associa South in LAS VEGAS DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE FEDERAL LAWS ! On REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS! Smith group recently took over for our previous management company. In four months they have lost and electronic debit which seems impossible. I've disputed the transaction with the bank. Currently the online portal is unavailable so the only option to pay is over the phone or in person. I've left messages with call back number because they don't have a call queue. No information was given that we had to go in person to pay our hoa fees. No email, no paper mail, no messages or calls. I'm sure they'd charge a late fee regardl... read more

In my unit the The roof was neglected and water started leaking in my unit. I reported the incident in January 2021 and Brandon ******* Community Manager at Associa. Sent someone to look at the damage November 2021. It's been a year and a half and the damage still haven't been prepared. Mr. ******* try to convince me that the dust in the ceiling melted and cause water damage. Can't get ahold of this HOA to save my life! We moved into our house in November 2021 and have yet to hear anything from the HOA. We have been contacting them via phone and email to no avail. I'm actually on hold with them right now as I type this and it says I have been on hold for an hour and four minutes so far. Would love to communicate via email with them if they are so busy but NONE of my emails have received a response. Dont bother with these jokers. Horrible you will pay them to do nothing. Terrible communication, never any follow through, won't return phone calls or emails. Especially Tracy ******** Terrible terrible Managers and company. BBB has almost 250 complaints about them this year alone 2022. Find anyone else.

I had emailed Joan, my strata manager who wanted to silent me for saying our former manager, *** "...sitting on his *** not getting me a reimbursement approved by the Strata Council for more than 6 months.." .She said I should not bad mouth her staff and warned me I would be reprimanded. Ever since the HOA fees for my property were turned over to this company, I've had nothing but issues. I moved across the country right around the time that the payment coupons were mailed out and I did not receive it. So when I got to my new residence I called them to change my address and request a new one. It never came!! Instead, I got a letter in the mail stating that the past due fees I owed would be sent to collections if not paid before March 31st. I received the letter on March 30th!!! I am not a homeowner but I have been living in one of the properties for 9 plus years and I have been given the permission to contact Community when I have problems. I have contacted on several occasions just like other I do not receive any call backs. I have spoken to Michelle and she informed me that my grass would be cut in the back yard. The grass has not been cut since I have been living there. (9) years.
