Aptive is great as long as you do not need to ever contact them. I noticed them I was moving and simply wanted to transfer my service to my new house. I contacted them to see if my new house is in their service area (still waiting for a response despite several back and forth emails). I asked them to cancel my next scheduled service, which they did but then a technician serviced my lawn after it was cancelled (and a week prior to the cancelled appointment). Finally the 1 year contract is over and hopefully they terminated, through my request, any further dealings with this company. -- I do not know this for sure because I could only speak with the limited ability, after hours call service operator. Anyway: 1st service was awesome, professional and thorough. After that however it has been shotty and rushed, if they even did their job at all. And no, it was a different person every time! Services repeatedly not performed, and billed for services after two re-srevices with no service actually provided. Very rude customer service who tried to bully me into paying for services not provided and outright lied about my calls into the company until I brought up that I had already spoken to a manager who assured me the issue would be taken care of. Technicians are not ethical and are blatantly not performing services.
I believe this company is shady. Someone came to my house to service the yard and told them my husband and I never agreed for that and the service guy said we need to then pay a cancelation fee and call customer service. Could NEVER get ahold of someone and even left call back numbers.Someone came to my house to spray my yard without me knowing after I made multiple attempts to cancel the service and could never reach someone to talk to. It honestly blows my mind that anyone has had a positive experience with this company. I initially called them because I was having an issue with ants on the outside of my house - I set up the initial service and scheduled a date and time for someone to come. The day came and went and no one showed up. I called to reschedule and after waiting on hold for over 45 mins TWICE - I finally got a hold of someone and told them to forget it. The gentleman that signed us up was incredibly polite and cordial. However, we have had 3 visits, 2 of which were far outside of the scheduled time frame. I was told it was as easy as scheduling appointments via the “convenient ap” however what I was not told until I took the time to investigate was that the ap is not working and had not been for several months. I received great service with APTIVE today 9/30/2020 to take care of wasps and other pest control needs. Shawn G******* our technician was professional, listened to my concerns and explained the process he was using to teat for the wasps. He also took care of spider webs around the house. He was masked and stayed socially distant which was much appreciated. Thank you for coming out today!
