This is in Louisville, KY, apparently with a new branch for Aptive. I made the mistake of answering my door bell today, thinking it was a delivery. Instead I was hit with unwanted Aptive solicitation. Typical sales tactics - your neighbors are using our service, blah blah blah. I said that I already had a pest control service with a competitor that we prefer (owned by a family friend). I’m not interested - repeatedly. An Aptive representative has come to my door three days in a row 2 times per day. I have a no soliciting sign. Instead of ringing my doorbell she taps lightly on the door. By the time I get dressed and go to the door she is gone. I am picking all this up on my ring camera. No mask on, standing close to my door, she stands there. I am not impressed with their tactics.

A sales contractor or employee from Aptive Environmental came onto our property in the middle of the work day even though we have no soliciting and no trespassing signs prominently posted. I went to the front door and asked how I could help him. He mentioned pests and pesticides. I told him we weren't interested. He then just kept talking and talked over me. Luke introduced himself and explained the process beforehand. Very courteous, professional and worked efficiently. When he was finished, he explained everything that he did, areas that he treated and what to expect in the next few days. Since this is our first treatment, not sure of the results just yet.

HORRIBLE customer service for billing issue. I cancelled service, received final bill for $121, mailed check for $121, was deposited by Aptive to their account and cleared for $621. After clearing up on my end with my bank I received credit from my bank for $500, so my debt to Aptive is now complete. I have called explained to many billing reps, emailed pictures of cleared checks, sent Facebook messages telling them to ask their bank. An Aptive salesperson came to my door, despite my no soliciting sign. He was not wearing a mask, was not 6 feet away from door, and did not leave when asked to. I tried to call the company without luck, which also makes me wary of this business. According to a neighbor, the county has been trying to shut down this business for months for repeated COVID safety violations.

Steven W. was on time, wore mask, shoe covering when he entered my home, explained what he was going to do, answered any questions I had. Actually he acted very professionally, was thorough. I am pleased with his performance.
